We had the pleasure of staying in the Esja corner suite for three nights in November. This hotel is absolutely amazing, the room was spotlessly clean and excellently furnished with easily the best views in Iceland. If your planning a once in a lifetime trip to Iceland you NEED to spend the extra and book this hotel. Great staff, great room and great views.
So glad we stayed here

When booking, I was nervous about the price... but our experience was worth it. It was my wife's birthday treat and she has never been treated better! There is nowhere else to stay but here for our next trip. Views - what a way to wake up... Quality of room, comfortable furnishings, easy to stay and relax if the weather is not cooperating Excellent breakfast, delivery timed to the second Helpful, polite, attentive staff No access issues The internet went down one night, but staff were informative Highly recommend this as a 'must-do' if you want the best.

I originally selected Tower Suites for the view and the decor of the rooms. Having selected the Invisible Service option, I was a bit anxious about the level of s service I would be receiving. I was pleasantly surprised that there was little difference from a full service hotel in the vast majority of services. There was personnel most hours (600-2300) and as I was having troubles with my phone still was able to get a normal keycard for entry to the building and room. I was also unsure if Invisible Service meant I would not get housekeeping for the duration of my start (3 nights) but am happy to report that I received housekeeping in like with any other establishment. The staff was professional and helpful (I needed an impromptu umbrella and they were able to oblige. I was blown away by the quality of the “continental breakfast”; I was expecting some danishes and juice, but I would be a more appropriate to describe it as a spread. I was refreshing to have some complementary drinks and snacks in the room after a long day of sightseeing. The view from the room was spectacular and did not disappoint (had an ocean and city view room). As long as it is available, I believe the Tower Suites will be my go to when I visit Reykjavik in the future.
Not a great hotel experience for us

I do not recommend this hotel. The positives: the view is gorgeous (weather permitting) and the room is modern and comfortable. However, the service was non-existent. It is based inside of a financial high-rise. Parking was a huge challenge, and we got locked out twice, with no one available to help us. After business hours, there is no way to access the hotel from the parking garage. This is more of a business hotel than a leisure hotel. Invisible service is not for us. We needed bath towels and help with the TV service and having no one on the property was frustrating. During our issues, we were told that the manager was very apologetic and would be reaching out to us to "make it up to us", however, we never heard from management.
