They will steal your briefcase if you accidentally leave it behind

Have now spoken to Days Inn staff 4 times after accidentally leaving my briefcase /iPad behind on Aug 7th. Two staff members (Mia Fingh on Aug 8th and 9th, and a man who would not identify himself on Aug9th and 10th) claimed they could find no record of my stay and that my briefcase was not at the hotel. (The fact that the computer inside the briefcase was sending signals from the hotel, proving its location, did not impress them.) When I asked to speak to a supervisor for help, Mis Fingh claimed to be the GM and owner, so I “couldn’t get help from anyone else”. She said there was no record of my stay, called me a scammer, and hung up on me. Hmmmm...
I have now spoken twice to corporate customer service reps of Wyndham Hotels, both very professional and apologetic. Within seconds the rep on Aug 9th found the record of my stay Aug6-7. She then called the hotel and was told by Mia that, yes, the hotel had indeed recovered my briefcase and that, no, she was not actually the GM nor owner. Customer Service asked me to call the true GM Neil Meelvannali the next day, Aug 10th, to recover my property. All was well - weird, but well.....
So, I called this morning, Aug 10th. The man who answered - the same staffer to whom I’d spoken on the 9th- told me the GM was not there, that he did not have my property, that he was too busy to help, and that I could call the “police or anyone I wanted” to get my property, and then hung up on me when I asked his name.
I called customer service again for help. She was professional, found my record, gave me the true GM’s name and told me that he would call me back today.
Normal wear and tear for a hotel that has been remodeled

We stayed here on our way to somewhere else. The room had the normal wear and tear for a hotel that had been remodeled a few times. There were chips, stains on the rugs, and holes where a previous TV had been mounted. Our room had an iron/ironing board, safe, coffee maker, TV, and telephone. The breakfast was simple with yogurt, cereal, and coffee (we've started calling this the pandemic breakfast). It was quiet and we slept well. The staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't charge us for the safe being in our room, which is a pet peeve of mine.

We stay at Days Inn alot but this one needs a little updating. Hole busted by bathroom and the bathroom vent was out. Wall beside bed looked dirty. Had a smell by the bed. I'm a rewards member and wasn't happy with this hotel. Would not recommend.

Very nice, staff was great. The pool was nice and clean. The only thing that we didnt like was the couple a few doors down got into an argument but was quickly handle by staf in a very professional way
All our needs were taken care of

We were treated nicely and respectfully. They were very accommodating to us with our special needs. We would recommend Days Inn to any wayward traveller. The housekeeping staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the management made sure a washer/ dryer would be available for us.
