I had to agree with the majority of the reviewers that this hotel is awful. I had to wait for 10 minutes for someone to show up before checking in. The room is dated. the cleaning staff do an awful job and fail to provide fresh towels on two consecutive days and did not clean the bath room. The breakfast is very limited and has only unhealthy ( waffle and bread , no eggs) choices. I would never stay here again
Very Rude staff

I advise you go somewhere else the staff is very rude the owner and front desk staff and the housekeeping is horrible during this covid-19 epidemic everybody needs to be more kind to one another but that is not the case at this hotel they are extremely rude

I was driving and the wife had to pick a hotel for us. She had tried another DaysInn but they would not answer the phone. This place did. She had made the reservation before I could say anything. Located the hotel and knew we were in not the best part of town. The first room we got was already occupied. They sent us to the next room. It was clear they were renovating the place, and the room they sent us too was some what isolated. Some fellow directed my wife to the room . That was strange as he pointed out the room and we had to show him the door. e later realized he was expecting a tip for doing nothing. The floor was bare with no carpet and it was dirty. We had no hand towels just 2 bath towels and 2 wash clothes. It was clear that this room had just been renovated. Why? The sink had the hot and cold reversed. The tile job in the shower looked new. The underside of the bed spread had some cigarette burn marks on it. The TV was fading in and out from a bad connection. The only reason I did leave was that I had driven 800 miles and was pooped. Needless to say don't stay here. A lot of strange people were walking around in the morning 6 am as the kind you keep your eyes on.

Staff is great, rooms are clean but on the old side. Location is the big problem, if your not visiting a loved one in the penitentiary. We had no idea that this hotel was located where it is(was not thorough in my research). Did not feel safe at all. Went in the room looked around, got on the phone and booked a stay at the Hilton, did not care that we lost over $100 for a 10 minute stay. Family safety is a priority.

Don't believe the positive reviews. Look at the overall chart before considering this place. The neighborhood is sketchy. My two friends and I saw two hookers walking through the parking lot (I've lived in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Oakland. I've been around. I know what we saw). When I entered my room, it smelled like an ashtray (my associate requested non-smoking rooms). I walked back to the front desk and told the clerk about by room, and he replied, "That's a no-smoking room." I countered, "Then why is there an ashtray on the nightstand?" He then gave me a key for another room. But it turned out to be locked from the inside. The third time was...not a charm. The bathroom was dirty and unacceptable for check-in. A long black hair was in the sink. Debris was on the floor by and in the shower. Greasy dirt was on the switch plate. Cigarette burns were on the sink. The bathroom ceiling was about 6.5-7 feet high. The TV was mounted crooked on the wall (I tried to adjust it, but it was fixed in position). And only half the channels received a signal. The nightclub nearby had music pumping until 12 a.m., and people were outside yelling. Although the heater was set to 67 (which is where I like it for sleeping), the room was far colder, even though the unit turned on periodically. One of my friends had the same experience. With only a thin blanket and no extra bedding in the closet, I had to sleep in shirt, sweatshirt, pants, and socks. Breakfast was the typical nuked sausage patties and pre-made egg disks. But they were barely warm, which is unsafe (I have a National Restaurant Association SafeServe certification). The pancake machine didn't work; its screen indicated a bag (of mix, I guess) had to be replaced. Meanwhile one of the employees was walking around the lobby with his phone on speaker, listening to some music and not inspecting the food station. My associates, who are coffee drinkers, said the coffee was awful, possibly because it was old. The ad copy for the hotel misleads with, "Located near Busch Gardens...". It's actually one hour away. With the exception of the clueless morning clerk, the staff was attentive and polite. The beds were comfortable with clean sheets (trust me, I checked thoroughly after walking into my room). Unfortunately, the staff's inattention to room maintenance and the surrounding 'hood (admittedly not within their control), make this unacceptable.
