Bryceland
This review only applies to this stay, the last time was great as per my review. Last time I stayed at this hotel it was very good and so was this time in general. There was a difference this time though. The view last time was perfect. Unfortunately this time it was depressing 😳 I know someone has to go in the ‘not so nice rooms, but a reasonable amount of applied business sense could at least improve this situation. Why do businesses not pay attention to their business assets and things that influence them. I expect the answer “we do not own this building”,so have no influence. If this is the answer it will confirm my suspicions.
Located near convention center and Olympic site.
Nice residence inn overall. Has a strange layout because it’s attached to it’s sister hotel in a strange way. Service was good and very attentive. Got in late and had to reboot computer to get my room. No problems after that. Nice breakfast layout. Lot’s of bread choices. But go out to eat lunch o dinner.
Fabulous room
The hotel is very posh. We had a suite which comes with a kitchen (hob, microwave, fridge freezer etc...) The room is huge with modern fixtures and excellent bathroom. The reception staff speak good English and are professional. We had a high floor and had nice views. Slight complaint is that the coffee maker still had coffee sat in it and there were items (someone else’s) in our fridge. Unfortunately, the area is very quiet with a very limited choice for dinner within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in the specific area, but the area is not really suitable for a general tourist.
Rock in Rio
Currently half way through our amazing lifetime trip to ROCK In RIO. Wanted a hotel close by and what a hotel we chose. Utterly superb. Top class. Room 1224. Overlooking the bay. Fabulous. King size comfy bed. Kitchen area with all you need. Large shower. Toiletries and towels provided. Service is top class too. Lovely staff. So polite and friendly. Had a bad insect (mozzy) bite night we arrived. Bad swollen. Tope on reception she was super helpful calling the drug store had some brufen and spray delivered right to the hotel as the access was restricted due to the festival and would have made it difficult for us to get across the road. Fabulous and so grateful for this service. Pool on the first floor is lovely and clean. Smallish for the size of hotel but I always found a free bed. Towels provided. Free breakfast is great. Lots to choose from. Fruit. Cold meats. Cheese. Plenty bread and rolls. Warm dishes too sausages, fritatas, veg, pancakes, pastries. Toastie machine. Tea coffee juice. All lovely. Laundry is easy to use. Also on 1st floor. Definitely come back. Lots of love from Scotland 🏴🏴 Michelle and Iain.
Excellent
We spent 8 nights at this hotel that made us feel like home. The front desk staff were very helpful, specially Tope, John, Camilla, Gustavo and Frabricio. Each one of them went out of their way to help us call various places when we lost our phone. They took the time to answer us when we had questions in a new place travelling with family. The location is quieter and safer. We appreciate each one of them. Special thanks to Leonardo and Leticia for their great service at the restaurant.
