Ripped us off with an invoice of 300€!!

We received an invoice (300€!!) for cleaning which they took from my creditcard, because the apartment was already a big mess in the first place. Needed to sleep with 7 guys in a very very small appartment. Besides we didn't received towels and not enough sheets for the beds. One big mess and now they ripped us off!!

Disappointing

We arrived at the Benski office to be told that our apartment was actually in the Diamant apartment block. Not too much of a problem, but the Diamant apartment looked absolutely nothing like what Benski advertised unfortunately. The décor was straight from the 70s, the fridge was really noisy and the carpet had quite a few interesting stains. For the amount we'd paid, it was really disappointing. The view was amazing though!

Poor service, horrible staff!

We rented the place for the year-end holiday season, a total of 6 nights. The price was high (1,600 euros for 1 bedroom) — which was fine given the last minute reservation-- but I wanted to make sure to have an apartment of good standing. It could have been indeed, especially as we got a bigger apt for an acceptable fee, as our initial flat was no longer available. Unfortunately, although I am a very frequent traveler, both for personal and professional matter, I have to say that I never ever experienced such a bad and insulting service. The place was far from clean, with blankets full of suspicious stains and carpet out of age; some kitchen appliances were dirty as well. Our mattress did not fit the bed! No WiFi at all —despite the website indication-- combined with poor 4G connection. Be ready to pay extras for linens, towels and cleaning despite the price and 4* status. And above all we had NO hot water for 3 days, i.e half of our stay. Enjoy the feeling after skiing all day..! In this context the manager’s behavior was simply outrageous. From being extremely unpleasant since the very beginning when we checked in, it went from bad to worse during the stay and turned very nasty at check out. I can understand being in the hospitality business may at time be quite difficult to bear --indeed everybody in the condo was outraged by the level of service, people were waiting in line for hours at check-in, all were really upset-- but this Mr Benoit was very visibly not up to the job and could not keep his nerve. Hospitality and accountability do not seem to be part of his vocabulary, nor whprofessionalism... Risoul is a great resort but I strongly recommend that you avoid renting with Benksi. We were there with friends who had a similarly very unpleasant experience at Benski Constellation— same manager. I am sure that Mr Benoit will reply with his usual, unapologetic answers, which really shows the issue here: he is always right and does not understand what the hospitality business is about..

BenSki are thiefs. Do not book with them. Ask for your money back and then they get nasty.

They ripped us off. They took our credit details, took our money and didn't and wouldn't provide us with a receipt or bill or breakdown. They then continued to use our card details and take money from our card. The matter is now with our credit card company. They made a mess of our lift passes, two days in a row. We missed a morning skiing as a result. When we complained they turned nasty, nasty, nasty. Do NOT stay there. Do not under any circumstances give them your credit card details.

Great stay

When we arrived, we were moved to another flat than the one we had booked. At first, we were a bit annoyed, but we were quickly directed to another flat. We found out that we had been upgraded to a bigger flat with a large balcony, a fine kitchen and a great view - at no extra cost. We were very satisfied with the apartment! On the second day we were out of hot water, so we contacted Benski, and later a man came to fix it. Good service! Thank you for a great vacation. I can definately recommend Benski.
