Drug Deals in the Parking Lot!
Reviewed 26 october, 2021
I booked through the official site. Promised clean rooms and hot breakfast. When I arrived to check in the lobby was closed, there was a line of people waiting at a service window for help, and there was drug paraphernalia on the ground. Not surprising as I watched a drug deal happen while I was in line. After 20+ minutes I was able to check in. Booked non-smoking but was put in a smoking room. Went back down and switched to a "non-smoking" room, which smelled of weed and tobacco and the window wouldn't lock shut. Didn't feel safe. Didn't trust that my vehicle would be safe. Took all my belongings when we went to dinner and decided not to return for the night. I was so disappointed that I could not cancel my reservation and go somewhere else. We ended up crashing at a friend's house instead. I would not stay here if it was the last place available in the area. I would rather sleep in my car or under an overpass.
Advertises breakfast but hasnt offered it in a year or more.

The lobby is closed and there IS NO BREAKFAST! There are no dining restrictions in Riverside. Restaurants are open, but this motel does NOT offer the breakfast that is advertised! If you are not going to offer breakfast STOP SAYING THAT YOU DO! COVID has been happening for 2 years now. Change your website and listings to say that there is no breakfast. Your lobby is locked. You do not allow guests inside to welcome and register them. You only work through the night window. WHY?? I perceive this as very rude. It is NOT welcoming. What are you afraid of? If you believe that COVID is that dangerous why do you allow people into the rooms? If you are so afraid that you will get COVID either get vaccinated and open or just shut down. These needless COVID policies make your guests feel isolated not welcome. FYI the room was clean and the plumbing worked but is this worth any more that the cheapest motels in the area?
Worst place ever!

Highly advise everyone steer clear of this hotel! It was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had and would recommend anyone being subjected to it! The room had mouse fecal on sheets and hair in restroom area. Drugs being solicited in parking lot and prostitution in rooms.
Slept comfortably for a new nights

The bed was comfortable and the room was in nice condition when i arrived. There is a strong smell of smoke and weed around the inn, even in my non-smoking room, though. It's close to the Tyler mall, though, as well as a few restaurants, and it happened to be a few minutes away from my girlfriend's house, so I definitely liked the location best compared to other nearby hostels
Camping would be better

Where to begin? First, I'll say I know I was not staying at a 5 star hotel. However, it was a Wyndham hotel so I did expect at least clean. What we got was terrible on several levels. Hairs left in the bed, a sofa sleeper with no mattress in it so you just sank way down plus it looked like a cat had given it a good scratching, spots on the blanket, and a desk lamp that not only did not work but had no way to be plugged in! Plus A FILTHY bathroom with hairs on the sink and in the tub, a stained tub, stained towels and a toothbrush left from a previous occupant! There was a sign at check-in saying "No Pets" and we saw several pets - including someone with a pit bull mix puppy lounging by the pool where they could be seen from the employees at the desk. While I don't expect the softest towels at this level of hotel, these were slightly one step above sandpaper. And The lobby was closed so no breakfast. Now it is COVID so I understand no open breakfast but other places we've stayed gave grab-and-go or pre-bagged. Here we got nothing and no discount either.
