Not a great hotel if you're in Rochester to seek treatment at Mayo Clinic. It is affordable when you're staying several days or weeks, but is not an environment conducive to healing. And forget amenities - there are none. The hallways and common areas stay filthy. They ration your towels and linens and won't give you clean ones until you bring the dirty ones to the desk. The hallways and staircases are not only dirty but poorly lighted- feels sketch if you're a female traveling alone.
Ok Place to stay

Needed a longer term place to stay and to get away from the constant restaurant food. They place has a kitchenette. They did provide some cookware, but it was extremely limited. If I have to go back to Rochester again for several nights, I would still consider they property again.
Fell short of expectations

It is what it is, a budget hotel. WiFi is junk. You do however have the option to upgrade to better service of course for extra $$. The TV in my room had issues. I tried calling the front desk but the call went unanswered. Went down to the desk to tell them and the attendent came up and rebooted the TV. I had to do this every time I turned it on. The next room had dogs in it that barked. This is an issue for a Mayo patient who needs rest. The room itself was ok but nothing special. They do a poor job at removing snow from the parking lot and coming into the front door. Had to drive to a local C-store to buy ice as there is NO ice machine. I did not realize ESA had no daily maid service, I was ok with it just took me by surprise. The kitchenette is not stocked with utensils coffee maker or anything else however you can request the items which were provided. I can't say that I will stay here again but I would not rule it out for the cost. The attraction is the price but I think for an extra 10 or 15 a night I could do much better, get better WiFi, ice machine and a real breakfast and daily maid service.

We stayed Nov. 25 & 26, 2019 Our room was a King with Kitchenette, very nice sized room. It was clean and well appointed, all I had to do was call the front desk and request the type of kitchen supplies that I wanted, they were brought to our room within 1 hour. Then WiFi was easy to hookup to and worked well. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the property and how an Extended Stay facility worked. A Big Shout Out to Kim, our front desk person ! Kim was extremely helpful and we would stay again because of her. Thank you Kim 🙂
