So very loud. Find another place!

Reviewed 12 august, 2022

If you are hoping to sleep in your hotel room, find another hotel. This seems like a very old hotel that is masquerading as a newer hotel, but it falls short. The decor is colorful and the wallpaper is already peeling. You hear every single person in the hallway - every single noise from adjacent rooms. Cars park less than three feet from the windows. Anytime anyone uses the water (not in your room), it cycles loudly in the room. There is no ventilation at all in the bathroom, so every shower fills the room with steam. The desk is incredibly small. The entrance at one end of the parking lot doesn't accept guest key cards. The hotel is on a loud busy road. There are a number of other hotels in the area.

Fine for a budget stay - friendly and clean

Reviewed 29 june, 2022

Pros: rooms were very clean - comfy beds - great counter space in bathrooms - friendly service at the front desk and breakfast area - good soundproofing between rooms - they’ve done well updating an older hotel with fun, hip, colorful decor - lots of plugs in convenient places - cool location close to lots of shopping and restaurants Cons: tiny, stuffy room - AC unit in room doesn’t allow fan to run unless AC is on and turned down very low, so no air circulation at night - many breakfast items were gone by 8:45 and not replaced - awkward elevator placement, especially if using the luggage carts All in all, it was inexpensive but nice and clean so fine for a budget stay.

Hmm? Great for Business people but not family and kids

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. Several things you should know. The pool is very cold even at the end of June. The front desk staff was very hard to get a hold of on the phone and in person at times. The patio is beautiful. But if you go out there you must walk all the way around the building on the outside to re enter? Very in necessary! The breakfast was very expensive. Didn't see anyone going in to eat. Such a waste!

Do not stay here.

Reviewed 14 june, 2021

From the curb this looks like a new or refreshed hotel. The reality is the facade is just that: a facade. Outside of the exterior and the lobby, the rest is a tired, old hotel. You can't easily use luggage carts because of the small elevators, doors to hallways and narrow entranceways. Ceilings are 1970s or 1980s style drop-down ceilings. Hallways are dark. Rooms received a superficial refresh but the TV is from 2011 -- as in 10 years ago -- and the bathroom is NOT refreshed. Mold and mildew in shower. No central lighting. Instead, my room had FIVE different light switches. Basically, this is an OLD 1970s or 1980s Holiday Inn with a facade update. The pool is closed, except to rooms with 2 or more guests. If you're solo you can't use the pool. There's no bar and no restaurant, despite advertising. Similarly, they sell breakfast packages but there's no breakfast because the restaurant is closed. I went to the front desk and asked for a wine glass from the bar and was told they wouldn't get one. Zero IHG elite status recognition. No local newspaper nor any local information, including restaurants. You are better off staying at the Best Western a block way. This is a dumpy old Holiday Inn providing less services and amenities than a Holiday Inn Express.

A great place to stay

Reviewed 2 may, 2021

I travel 50% of the year for work and have stayed in several Rochester area hotels. Hands down this is the best place I’ve stayed in the area. Rooms are super quiet and clean, internet is fast, staff is helpful and friendly. The pool is amazing! Fam came up to visit during spring break and had a blast. You won’t be disappointed.
