Poor customer service

Reviewed 1 january, 2023

We stayed one night en route to Calais. The foyer area of the hotel looks very contemporary, however our room was dated and in need of redecorating. As others have said the rooms are stuffy and the air conditioning doesn't work properly. Customer service was very poor. There was no coffee in the room despite the presence of paper coffee cups with the words enjoy your coffee on them. At breakfast, we wanted some camembert and yoghurt and were inexplicably told by one of the staff we couldn't have any as they were not for our group. When I asked why I was told we should complain to our tour manager and ask them to pay more! I would avoid this hotel in future and choose somewhere where they care about their guests enjoying their stay.

Reasonable hotel close to cdg airport Paris. Has all the expected fit out for a Mercure hotel- comfy bed. Tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar. Bathroom ok although step up for the shower which was very slippery when wet. Had selection of nibbles and sandwiches, wraps and drinks available for purchase at reasonable prices. Very handy as no other shops or restaurants easily accessible bar the hotel restaurant.

Despite the expensiveness of the stay due to peak season, overall stay was just fantastic. I attended to SIAL Exposition with a colleague of mine and movilization to it was quick and easy from and to the hotel. All our needs were covered diligently and all suggestions given by the personnel were really good. Miss COLINE FAUCHET was extremelly helpful and responsive everytime we needed something. Hope all hotels have workers like Coline👍🏽. Two thumbs up for her!!

Do not let them give you a voucher for this hotel

Our stay at Mercure CDG was really bad. We were sent here when our Air France flight was rebooked for the following day. The service all the way around was subpar. It seems they may be just staying alive by taking the customers of the airlines when flights are rebooked. The staff didn’t seem to care or be helpful. We received rude and dismissive service when we asked for a few pillows that aren’t feather since we are allergic. The bed wasn’t comfortable. The restaurant was horrible.

Adequate for a night stop at CDG

It is the typical airport hotel, well appointed, rather large rooms, good break-fast. It would be all fine if it were not for the somehow complex shuttle system from and back the terminals (stops and timelines are too easy to find)
