April in Paris

Our 4 night stay at the beautiful Roissy Chambres was wonderful. From the moment we stepped inside we could see and appreciate that Laurent had put a lot of time effort and resources into making his B&B Gomel and inviting. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The mattress and bed linen was fresh, clean and very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom and shower was spacious with a nice warm flowing shower. The kitchen was nicely set out and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The help your self style breakfast was fresh and filling. The dinning room was spacious and also cosy with a comfy sofa at one end with a large wide screen TV where you could sit and relax after your meal. The gardens were well kept and maintained where we enjoyed sitting quietly in the evening sunshine. A big thank you to Laurent for taking the time to personally greet us when we arrived who shared some helpful information about getting around Paris. With room for 4/5 cars and the bus stop just literally a minutes walk away it was ideally situated for both the airport and a 30/40 min drive to central Paris .We really didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay here at Roissy Chambres and we would thoroughly recommend it to everyone.
discriminated for being Chinese, the owner framed me up for eating other people's food
Opinión escrita el 13 de octubre de 2019
Three days after my stay at Roissy Chambres, booking.com told me that the owner accused me that I did not follow the policy of the hotel and I ate the halal breakfast prepared by another guest. I was so shocked about the accusation and messaged the owner asking for why. Guess what answer did I get? Because another guest messaged him/her complaining that the food prepared by the guest was eaten by Chinese! This is so ridiculous! You were not on the scene and you did not investigate what happened, how dare you start to sentence somebody as guilty! Just based on a message from a guest, you easily sentenced me, another guest, as guilty and treated me so. What’s worse, the reason for being guilty was simply because I was Chinese!!! This is discrimination! I was 100% sure that I did not eat the halal breakfast prepared by other people. What I took was some croissant, baguette, honey, yogurt, and HAM which were in the kitchen when I checked in the day before and were apparently the breakfast for all the guests as the hotel charged us for breakfast. And I took HAM, which I believe was made from pork meat. This food was impossible for a halal meal! I thought the owner must mix things up so I explained to him/her, providing another two guests I met during breakfast for verifying that I am telling the truth. I was hoping to get an apology from the owner. Yet, there was simply no reply!!! I felt so disappointed and irritated of the owner. When the food was missing, what he/she did was not to think about how to improve the service to avoid such things in the future, but to blame an innocent guest without checking the truth. Even if the food of a guest was eaten by another guest, it is the owner to be blamed as he/she does not label the food provided by the hotel! For sure, this is the worst experience I have ever had with hotels. I could not imagine how can a hotel owner treats the guests like this until I saw the response of the owner to my comments in booking.com. This is totally a revenge of my comments because in my comments, I pointed out the insufficient part the hotel should improve!
Gem Near Charles de Gaulle Airport

Spent one night in this delightful B&B near CDG. Exceptionally clean, well run - albeit remotely (i.e., owner operator not on site - but communicates very well with you and very helpful - especially after we came in very late from a couple of long delayed flights). Beautiful room. Jacuzzi tub. Very comfortable bed. Facilities upscale and modern. Good French style B&B breakfast - wonderful croissants. Price more reasonable than most of the local hotels. Village very pleasant to walk around. We’d stay here again!

The rooms are perfect (comfortable beds, coffee, tea, some biscuits and chocolate), nice bathroom (air dryer, shampoo, towels,...), very nice breakfast (almost everything you could want). The location is perfect to go to the Charles de Gaulle airport (10 minutes by taxi). I would totally recommend it!
