Awesome place! Hidden Gem.
I was very impressed Ai Senatori. I had a single room which had a single bed, a TV, bathroom with a shower, bidet, toilet, and a washing machine. It also had a small kitchen which was great for putting together a snack. The room was specious, well decorated, and super clean. It’s located in a very hip neighborhood, but a short walking distance to the Vatican. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat and would stay again if I am in Rome again.
Unprofessional behaviour
I've booked my holiday online through Lastminute.com and have booked this hotel. We called them to confirm our booking and request the late check and we informed them we'll be there at about midnight, they said it's alright. What's happened on our arrival day- the buzzer didn't work, no one was there at reception even though they knew about our late check in request, we called their number provided by them and the lady on the phone said she's gonna be there in the minute but no one ever turned up to open the door and when we called them again they were not bothered to answer the call. So we end up waiting in the middle of the cold night for one of their member of staff for almost an hour and had to find a different hotel. They never contacted us back to apologise or to explain why has this happened and luckily we found the different hotel at that night otherwise we would have ended up spending the night on the street. Very unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour!
Close to Vatican and Ponte St. Angelo
We got stood up by another accommodadion, and we were lucky to find Ai Senatori (low season- Febuary) The place is Enormous (around 130 sq. meters- about 1300 sq. feet), it was spotless, had 2 bathrooms, but most importantly it turned to be closer to the Vatican than what we had hoped for... Highly Recommended
Hidden gem
We recently visited Rome with our friends for a short break! We initially had a bit of difficulty finding were the entrance was but once we got that sorted wow we were in for a treat. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Once checked in we were pretty much left to our own devices with the staff only a text away and always happy to help! I would definitely be recommending Ai Senatori to any friends or family who are going to Rome in the future!
Unprofessional, unfriendly, uncorrectly
For our honeymoon we reserved in advance and told our arrivalhour. We asked if there is breakfast too. After some days we get an email with 1 word: ‘yes’. We arrived correctly and saw that the bell was broken, we couldn’t get in. We phoned but reached always a voicemail ... another person, living in the house, passed. We went in but nobody opend the door. Suddenly another guest entered, tried to contact the owner, ... in the meantime we saw our bill already deducted from my creditcard, hanging on the window of the B&B ! After 1 hour arrived 1 man to take us to another part of the house but had no key !! No welcome word, no ‘sorry’,.. we had to wait once more half an hour. Another man arrived, gave a key and disappeard. We didn’t feel welcome !! In the night it was noisy and cold. The shower didn’t work, only cold drops water ! Dust on the cupboard,.... not clean! Next morning we went back to B&B and asked for breakfast, once more we had to wait a long time. A lady arrived and sent us to a café bar nearby, where we had to pay our breakfast ourself! Bad experience from start to end!!! Never we will go back there! Luckely another B&B around the corner gave us a warm welcome and some lovely days! Ai Senatori is definitly a horror!
