Absolutely lovely hotel with the best service - highly recommended

My niece and I stayed for 3 nights while we waited on an emergency passport to be issued. We received the warmest welcome from Jacopo. The rooms were beautifully set out, clean and cosy. So close to the embassies, city and shops. Very safe area. We loved this hotel, it provided such a restful stay, and nothing was a challenge for the staff. They bent over backwards for us and were so gracious. The breakfast was amazing. Great selection of different foods and great coffee. I have Coeliac disease and cannot eat wheat and was so happy to see all the Gluten Free bread and cakes available. Made my day. An unforgettable stay - highly recommended if in Rome. Thank you Jacopo.

Beautiful settings and safe area

Charming hotel located in a quiet and safe area (Nomentana close to embassies). 10 minutes walk from metro station Bologna and 4-5 stations from Colosseo. Few groceries shops close to Bologna and restaurants (Ciro pizzeria on Piazza Bologna street is the best family owned restaurant where we dined 3 times during our stay). The hotel owner is very helpful, sympathetic and attentive to our needs. Room are European sizes (we are in the room only to sleep and take a shower after all!) and clean. Breakfast is continental italien (crostata, cheese, cold cuts, yogurts, croissants, juices, etc) and offer a variety of coffees freshly made for you. I will definitely return on my trip to Rome.

Fantastic place to stay in Rome!

We stayed here for 5 nights during our visit to Rome. Location of the hotel is near Bologna metro station which connects you with all major city attractions. City center is also 40-45 minute walk from hotel (with La Romana - fantastic ice cream places on way to city center). Area is quite and safe, with lot options for food near hotel ( check out Momart). Rooms are very clean and spacious. You will enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast on beautiful veranda. Stuff in the hotel are amazing. They are very helpful and polite. Definitely fantastic place to stay in Rome! Would recommend to everyone who wants to stay near center but in quite neighborhood.

Excellent choice, "value-for-money" !

This elegant hotel, is a great option if you want to spend your days in Rome and stay nearby the city center without paying a fortune. Villa Pirandello is located near Piazza Bologna and you can’t get yourselves there by metro, stepping off at Bologna metro station (Line B) and walk approximately 10 minutes or by several bus lines coming through Via Nomentana, a quite central avenue, only a couple of minutes away from the hotel. Around Piazza Bologna are many useful shops, a super market, street-cafés, pastry shops, bakeries e.t.c. As for the hotel, I think Villa Pirandello is what you call “value-for-money”. Near the city center (almost 2,5km from Termini), with the privilege of its location within a quiet neighborhood, full of embassies around, thus pretty safe to walk around. The staff is exceptional. Both of the receptionists were professional by all means but at the same time, discrete and friendly, ready to answer any of your questions, ease down potential concerns and so on. Nevertheless, upon our arrival and after checking in we have been provided with a city map, we have been explained of the city’s transportation system and shown around the hotel’s main areas. The room was comfortable, very clean and very warm, there is a heater and an a/c unit, our request for a double bed has been satisfied, and I have to mention that the bed was simply fantastic. The bathroom is big, really clean, towels and amenities are provided, I prefer a shower rather than a bath tub and my wish came true, ‘cause there’s a waterproof shower cabin making every day’s bath hour an ultimate relaxing circumstance. The breakfast is served in a country style, cozy decorated, elegant and luminous porch but you don’t have to worry about cold, in winter time is peripherally closed with glassware. It’s simply so soothing and relaxing to take your breakfast over there. There are all kinds of breakfast to satisfy every need, there is yoghurt and nuts for the healthy-living ones, scrambled eggs and bacon, varieties of bread, juices, you name it… To sum up, if I ever visit Rome again, which I will and will be the third time already, Villa Pirandello will be my first choice!

Wonderful stay at the Villa Pirandello

Villa Pirandello is situated in a beautiful residential district, close to Metro Bologna, with nice restaurants nearby. It has style and character without being a pretentious boutique-style hotel. Easy journey on the metro and train to and from the airport. We had a lovely room, with a terrace - comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
