After a fast and friendly check-in, we went to a smallish, well-lit room with modern decor. The room had only one chair, a microwave, and a mini-fridge (no freezer). The sink area was separate from the tiny shower/toilet room. There was some counter space, but it was poorly lit. The bathroom had a loud fan and was shower only--no bathtub. The shower head was good. Our room faced the interstate and we heard traffic noise. The breakfast was decent for pandemic times, with hot and cold items. We had a good Mexican dinner at Burrito Vaquero.

Check in/out was smooth, but Room 417 had a strong smell of syrup or something. We asked to be moved. Our second room was good. The paper cups for coffee in the room were dirty - obviously used. When I read on Tripadvisor about the constant door slamming, I figured it was just rude clients. I now believe it's people that are staying long term. I didn't appreciate being woken up at 1:25 am. The yelling down the hall was rude. On the up side, the woman bagging up breakfast was very pleasant and friendly. This place wasn't the best but I've stayed in worse. It was adequate for 1 nights stay. Lots of road noise.
Stayed here for Crater Lake visit

This hotel is good, but nothing special. We stayed here during our visit to Crater Lake. The location is good, it is about a 2 hour drive to Crater Lake. The town of Roseburg is a decent size with restaurants, fast food, and a Wal-Mart where we picked up food items since our room had a refrigerator. Cleanliness was okay. I'd probably give this Sleep Inn a 3.5 rating.

Room okay, Lobby not so much

The lobby was slightly shabby and I was put off by the desk clerk who was not wearing a mask, nor one of the other staffers passing by. But it was late, and we didn't want to have to search for a dog accepting hotel. Our room was better than I expected. On the first floor (which is generally the dog floor in hotels) and small; it looked clean and was nicely decorated (kudos on the bedspreads, which had a better pattern then most hotel spreads). Two double beds. The building itself looked a little older, but Sleep Inn has updated the fixtures and decor of the rooms. Towels are of a decent quality, and pillows are comfortable. Once in the room you couldn't hear the road noise, and putting on the a/c also provided some white noise.
