The breakfast is boring, taste nothing, and no variation during our 3 days visit. The room is from 90s? Could use a refresh. We got fooled by the pictures. Overall not friendly personal, and they can hardly speak any english.

Please BEWARE if you are checking in after hours. This hotel does not have an after hour check in. This was my painful experience recently 7/4/18. My family and I (2 adults and 3 children) were booked on an NCL cruise that left from this port and it's always a good idea to reach your embarkation port a day before so we decided to use Expedia and this hotel. On the initial booking I informed Expedia we would have a late check in and Expedia called the hotel to confirm which they did. I called Expedia 3 weeks before arrival, just to double check, and once again, Expedia called the hotel to confirm which they did. All seemed good because I did due diligent and figured if they were aware my family is arriving after hours (11pm) and acknowledged my request I would see someone or have some type of instructions when I get there. Not the case. Had to go to the hotel across the street and reserve 2 rooms. This hotel did have after hour service and were very kind in giving me 2 rooms for the price of one. After my trip I called Expedia for a refund and they called the hotel. The hotel declined due to there policy of no refund if no show but this is clearly not the case. Shame on you Expedia and Hotel Belvedere for deceiving your customers!

This is a lovely little hotel. Room was small but clean and well maintained. We were in a room outside of the main hotel on the second floor. Stairs were very steep and I found it difficult to get up with my luggage. The younger people in our group had no problem. Windows open on to a side street and it was an easy walk to downtown area and to the Baltic sea. Lots of shops and restaurants to explore near by.

We stayed here before our cruise. So handy to Warnmunde train hbf. Easy walk to NCL ship. Beautiful little town. No elevator, we were on floor 3 but could handle our suitcases. Nice clean room, friendly people!

Good location and reasonable price for time of year

Positives- Location: central to rail, restaurants and waterfront. Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Can speak English although not an issue for us. Restaurant: Good breakfast selection. Improves- Accessibility: not an issue for us, however no lift and 3 floors with narrow stairways. Also looked like car parking could be a real issue if travelling with a car. Room: Poor ventilation with bathroom facilities smaller than on some campervans. Needed to leave a window open which was not very secure, with external fire escape. A lot of the other reviews complain about the restaurant selection but with the close proximity of so many other restaurants nearby I can't imagine why you would want to eat in for anything other than breakfast? Speaking of which, this was a good spread, and provided value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
