I was very surprised at the warm welcome that I received at the hotel. A special thanks to Tara Rios who ensured that I had a pleasant stay. My requests were met and information needed provided. The hotel was better than I expected - the room was spacious, very neat, clean and elegantly arranged. I definitely will stay at this hotel if I visit Roswell, NM again!
Best Customer Service!

While my trip was not without obstacles, the customer service at this hotel was outstanding! The hotel lost internet service for a long while, but the management was beyond helpful (thank you so much, T. Rios!). They bent over backwards to make sure I could get my work done. Highly recommended! We will be staying here again!

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel just recently, and had a good stay, it wasn't without it's problems, but it was a good stay. Here's what I had to say. Property: The property was clean and didn't smell, well, you get the smell of the pool walking through the interior courtyard, but that's a given. The breakfast was small and pre-packaged, my guess is that was due to COVID, which didn't bother me. If I could offer up some constructive criticism with regards to breakfast, it would be to cut back on the cheese in the egg and cheese omelet...a little too much. Rooms: The rooms were fairly large and spacious and allowed me the opportunity to do my stretches without bumping into furniture or blocking someone's way to the bathroom. The air conditioning can be a bit loud, but not a deal breaker for me. Ok, the bad: And this one is a doozy: Bugs. Our first room was room #131, the last room in the hall right next to the door leading outside, and an outside facing room. My guess is that because of the location of the room, the bugs had an easier time getting in. The bugs I'm talking about were large black water beetles, at least that's what they called it. I found 2 in the bathroom one night, and my wife had one in her hair, which she flung onto the bed and I got it, killed it and flushed it. That morning while leaving the room for the day, we found one trying to get in under the door to our room....needless to say it never made it into the room. We then walked right up to the front desk, told them the problem, then asked for, and was given, a new room with no problem. This new room was much farther away from the door to the outside, and an inside facing room. We never had another issue with bugs after that. These bugs were coming in somehow, so I would suggest to the management to walk along the outside of the hotel, note all cracks, and have them sealed. I would also suggest doing this inside each room as I found an opening between the toilet and wall in that room. The bugs were a problem, and not just to that hotel, but to other businesses as well. Having said all that, the staff was very accommodating in our request to change rooms, so thank you for that. I was told by the front desk person upon check-out that they were going to take that room out of circulation (that wasn't the word she used, but that's what came to mind) until they can fix the problem. So this tells me they are very much committed to excellence and helping their guests. So thank you to the staff and management of the Clarion Inn & Suites Sally Port in Roswell, NM for being understanding and accommodating. Overall I would stay here again, but ask for a second floor room next time.
Wonderful service at the Clarion!

I am 73 and use a cane. I came in after a long drive where I was stopping myself from going to sleep while driving. Tara, at the front desk, saw my exhaustion and gave me a first floor room. She helped carry my bags to the room. She gave me water and ice and set the air conditioner. I have never had such care in my life while checking into a hotel. I was very grateful for her help. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. I had a nice nap and felt so much better. I will always stay here while in Roswell. Excellent rates, service, and very nice rooms. 5 Stars Plus.
Best hotel in town

This is my favorite hotel in town! It's a good deal. The beds are soft, the room has everything you need. The inside rooms have a view of the gazebo and they decorated it with a tree for Christmas it makes me feel like I'm at home. We are in the middle still of Covid shut down so I can only say they pool and exercise room are calling to me but closed but they look nice! My husband and I are OTR truck drivers who are here for medical reasons, You could easily leave your trl a couple blocks down the road at trk stop and bring your bobtail here for a 34. Room for a full rig or 2. I can't begin to thank all the staff for helping us! Bryan and T bless you! All the staff are friendly. *I read some of the negative reviews and all I can say is I would rather stay some were comfortable, safe, close to resources I need than pay more for a towel folded into a swan! No hotel can offer all the extras goodies with covid shut down.
