Your typical Marriott...

Stayed here for three nights. This is your typical Marriott, generic and bland, but there is nothing wrong with that as long as it does the job. Was upgraded to a junior suite, which is a larger than the standard rooms as they are situated in the corners of the hotel.
Room - room was nice. But with all that empty space it would be nice if they had put a proper sofa or sitting group, since the "sofa" they have in those rooms are basically for one person only, and it comes with a small laptop table. TV is supersmall compared to other hotels, and it did not support Chromecast or other streaming options (at least when I tried). Bed was large and comfy. There was also a working desk and an office chair. Windows from floor to roof, meaning you have striking views of Rotterdam from all sides in the room, also from the bathroom, which have a large window as well. Little attention to detail wouldn't hurt - one day I got two water bottles, and the other days I got one. One day I got L'Occitane bath amenities, and another day I got Acca Kappa. Not a big deal, but still... Bathroom has water saving eco shower, and behold - a water saving eco faucet too - so when you wash your hands the water flies all over the counter. There was also a so-called "spa bathtub" (as Marriott calls it), which is a bathtub without a shower option. Coffeemachine (great tasting coffee) and kettle. An empty minifridge - something I really appreciate. Wifi was fast.
Amenities - club lounge was closed as per Marriott's covid excuses. Elites get their breakfast at the restaurant at the 2nd floor. At check-in I was told breakfast was served till 1030, but when I came down at 1010 I was told it was already closed. So apparently it closes at 10 AM sharp. Elites also receive complimentary beer/wine/softdrinks and some tapas at the lobby bar every day from 5:30 PM till 7:30 PM. The lobby bar, which I visited every evening, was a nice and lively spot. The bar seemed to attract guests and locals alike. I enjoyed my food and beers here. There is also a lobby shop.
Service - front desk staff were helpful. Housekeeping, even though lacking that little attention to detail, was very thorough. The room was superclean! The head bartender (a man in his 50s, I assume) was amazing! Very efficient and attentive. Really kept an eye out for his guests. Great guy!!
Location - couldn't be better. 100 meters away from the central station - with direct services to Schipol Airport and Amsterdam. There are also trains for Brussels, Paris, etc... Shopping streets, restaurants, bars and so on are just a block or two away from the hotel. A fully stocked Albert Heijn supermarket 200 meters from the hotel.
Would I stay here again? Most certainly, yes! A good option in Rotterdam.

I want to recognize the Rotterdam Marriott team on an excellent stay. I stayed recently for about a month and even with the COVID restrictions the team provided exceptional service in all areas. As a Marriott Titanium member I can highly recommend this property.
Keep up the great job!

I visited Rotterdam for work and it was suggested to me to stay at this Marriott. It is in a FANTASTIC location as it is directly across the street from the subway station. I was able to take a non stop train from the Amsterdam airport to Rotterdam, then simply cross the street to my hotel which was super amazing after a 8 hour flight. The hotel is very modern and clean; I had a room on the 10th floor. Rooms are updated and incredibly spacious and the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable; I melted into bed every night. Breakfast is expensive of course, but very very good - you can order special eggs, waffles, pancakes, etc off of the menu and enjoy the buffet as well. My last night I had room service and honestly, it was the best meal I had while in the Netherlands.

We were welcomed with such friendliness and booking in was a great experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean and neat. From the moment we went to have a drink in the Pillars bar, we were wonderfully cared for by the helpful staff and management.
Dinner was another highlight with a carefully designed three course meal. The plating and taste was divine. Breakfast was served and a complimentary glass of champagne was the cherry on top of the cake. Thanks guys.. You will definitely see us back!!!

Typical Marriott. Excellent service at breakfast, at the cafe and at the restaurant. Nice rooms( avoid connecting ones though- you have to walk on your toes in order to not disturb and you can hear practically everything. We had the choice to change room but we desided not to make a fuss). Comfortable beds. Nice big bathroom( needs extra lights please!) with a fantastic big window facing the centraal station(wow!). Aircon at alaska temp ( yes!) Room service was fast. The personnel were both professional and polite. Good breakfast. Location at its best . We walked almost to everywhere. Nice big parking lot( paid) almost under the building with an elevator that connects with the hotel. We loved it so much that we added an extra stay. Thank you all !! We shall be back 🙂
