You get no fresh towels, your bed will not be made, and your trash will not be emptied. There is no Kleenex in the room or any of the things that are expected when staying at a hotel. But you will pay full price, even though the place is a dump and you get nothing. The manager told us this is an extended stay hotel and fresh towels, emptied trash, and made beds aren't part of the extended stay experience. We had no idea this is an extended stay hotel. It doesn't say that on the web site, or over the phone, or anywhere. We would never have chosen to come to such a rundown, dirty-looking, and dark hotel. When I asked where I could empty the trash from my room, I was told to take it outside to the dumpster. The hotel is dark, dirty-looking, and run down. The one elevator is tiny and scary to look at. The "fitness room" is a joke. The fitness room is 4 pieces of equipment put in the laundry room. People are going in and out at all times to do laundry and on the way to and from the pool. The treadmill and bike did not work. The other 2 pieces of equipment were just sad. I worked out for 2 days of my stay and then decided to give it a miss and I am an avid exerciser. This hotel was probably the worst place we have ever stayed. Not letting people know it is an extended-stay facility that does not provide fresh towels, etc. is dishonest. When I went to the front entrance to talk to the manager, another resident was already there making the same complaint. The people who work there knew what was coming and were prepared with excuses. What a truly horrible experience.

We were there for a conference. When we first arrived our room was torn apart. Cushions off the couches, TV on full blast and tables, counters filthy. The toilet you had to flush 4 times and hold it just for the toilet paper to go down. The refrigerator made a god awful sound. The smoke alarm started beeping in the middle of the night. I called the desk at 2am and was told I’m sorry I don’t have the key for maintenance or anything. She replied “Can you just take the battery out?” The bathroom tub had mold all over the bottom of the wall and you had no water pressure. The breakfast in the morning we were told would be at 6:30 and we went down and the woman was very annoyed with us. We didn’t know it was 7:30 on the weekends. We were told 6:30. We went to print out boarding passes and the printer was out of ink. The woman sitting down at the desk told me nothing she could do, she didn’t know how to change the ink. The day of check out I gave the list of things wrong with the room and she replied “We don’t have the key for maintenance. That’s the horrible housekeeper who leaves the room like that, sorry for your problems.” This place made a lot of money off of the conference you would think they would have cared more. The one woman there all weekend never even stood up out of the chair. This was our first time to Texas and if we go back it won’t be to this hotel.
Worse hotel ever

This place was so disgusting 🤢 the room smell like urine and air freshener, bed was uncomfortable with cheap sheets and you can hear the noise from the freeway all night long. The bath tub was discolored and shower head and lever were outdated and rusted I have never been to a hotel with frebreze air freshener obviously they knew the room stinks and try to mask it but it only made worse. I reported it as soon as we walked in but we were told they were sold out and couldn’t move us to another room. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this hotel.

I was thinking oh I’m safe with my standard expectations of what a hotel should be with an IHG property. I was horrified, I should have known when I pulled into the parking lot and trash was cascading from the dumpster into parking spaces that I should ask for my money back and run. I could write a book on the many levels of disappointment - I made a huge mistake in staying at this hotel. It was filthy and the smell was horrendous- it was so late I was exhausted and just wanted to fall into bed so I stayed. Completely unbelievable. I have stories to tell but not enough time right now!
Great hotel, amazing staff, excellent location

I stayed at the Staybridge in Austin Round Rock for business this last week. The property is located directly off of highway 35 and close to downtown Round Rock. My room seemed updated, very clean and full of amenities that most hotels lack these days. The front desk staff was friendly,
