Estuve 12 días en este hotel y puedo decir que la atención fue excelente, muchas gracias a Leonard y a Ronald por su ayuda tanto con mi maleta extraviada por AA como por mi emoción por ver por primera vez la nieve pero no saber que hacer para quitarla de mi auto y Ronald se encargo muy amablemente. Cafe y Te disponible siempre en la recepción. Buen desayuno y siempre estaban reponiendo al acabarse los productos. La habitación amplia, limpia con una pequeña cocina, cama muy cómoda, suficientes toallas. El hotel muy tranquilo. Cerca de restaurantes y de supermercado al que se puede ir caminando. Mi única recomendación es que deben hacer visible algún letrero en la calle ya que el hotel esta un poco escondido. Pero si debo volver a St Charles este sera mi hotel.

how this hotel is part of the Marriot chain is mind boggling.
the place is a dive and should be condemned, it is a health hazard, moldy, damp with broken parts and damages finishes. this place should be avoided at all costs.
Infested with bugs and shady, rude staff!

We stayed here and only used the room to sleep. Our daughter woke up freaking out because there were ants crawling on her, on the sofa bed. We woke up to ants on the ceiling, counter, floor, everywhere! The manager had the maintenance man check. He lied and said there weren’t any… till I said we had pics and video. My husband walked him to the room and pointed out the ants. We asked fo a refund for the night. The manager, Brandi, was rude, and refused, while we were there. She, later, hung up on my husband. I can’t believe Marriott would allow such filth and such lying, rude staff to be a part of their name. Completely Disgusted!

We had the best stay at this hotel, Brandi then GM was so friendly and helpful for offering suggestions of places for us to take our dog so we could enjoy St. Louis. We had a great time, the whole staff was so nice and helpful. The room was clean and had way more amenities than we had expected. We will be back again!
Would've been better off at Motel 6

How is this a Marriott property?
We chose to stay here because this was the end of our first leg to Chicago. We simply just needed a place to lay our heads down for one night and the property couldn't even make that happen. Let me explain.
My wife and I checked in around 11 PM, after having gotten off work at 6:30 PM, dropped our kid off at the grandparents and making the drive from KC to St. Charles. Check in was easy. It was everything after check in that was bad.
Upon entering the room, I observed that the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I'm not sure if a previous guest had smoked in the room or they had been unable to cover up the smoke smell from the old days, but it wasn't pleasant. Oh well. We'd be out of the room in 8 or 9 hours and on our way to Chicago. We could live with that.
At 4:40 in the morning, I was awoken to the TV in the room above us on at full blast. I'm not sure how my wife slept through it, but the first thing I did was get on the Marriott app and send a message to the front desk through their chat function. It took an hour and 40 minutes to receive a response back and by then, I was wide awake.
They said they'd handle it and they claim they talked to the occupants of the room yet they never reduced the volume of the TV.
By this time I was livid. Upon leaving the property, I called the front desk and got someone purporting to be the manager. They said they would wipe out our bill and address the problems with the occupants above us. The bill was never wiped out.
I know this isn't the W or an Autograph property but I expect a certain level of consistency from Marriott properties. This property is trash and the people that run it don't care about what they are doing. This is sad. I might have to stick to IHG properties from now on.
