Don’t be fooled- this is a 1.5 at best!
Maybe my expectations are too high, but at the very least your room should be clean and the area should have some sort of security on the premises to patrol that guests are staying in line... We stayed here on a Friday night- we figured since we were just basically sleeping here after a show in downtown St. George, that $120 was about all we wanted to pay- our usual places were sold out- in retrospect I wouldn’t pay over $50 for this place- the room was basic, which wasn’t the problem, it was just not clean - the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed- there was debris up against the bed- the carpet was stained by some kind of bleach, the bedsore was stained, the bathroom lights were exposed without a cover by and made a terrible noise, the sink stopper was broken ... then with the room being on the upper floor, it was over the pool area- so at 10:40 pm- people were still swimming and yelling- ridiculous! If we wouldn’t have prepaid, we would have just left! We probably should have anyway . The only redeeming factor was that it was close to several places to grab a bite to eat- Denny’s, Black Bear Diner, and McDonalds.. We love St George, and we have stayed at other places, but we will be much more careful when picking accommodations next time!
Zion trip with family and friends
Very great customer service with clean rooms right on exit 6 nice location and also near by walking distance 4-5 restaurant I liked how it had a lot of local places to eat and shop around the hotel. I also loved the fast check in and how clean the room was. The lady at the front desk was super nice. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.
Nice
Our car broke down on the way home from Glacier Park, and thankfully it was near this exit. We found this very affordable and clean motel. It was quiet, and we could walk to Bear Diner which had excellent food. Very nice area, and staff at Inn were great!
Big Changes Needed To Build Any Customer Loyalty
This hotel use to be one of our family favorites, but in recent years, it changed ownership and has gone completely downhill. Last week I stayed two days and quickly noticed the fine appointment of the hotel were seriously lacking.. For example, the mattresses are very low quality and very uncomfortable. The linens are old and hard, the bed sheets and blankets are paper thin, and I ran out of hot water the first few minutes I began my morning shower. Management is not paying attention to details, nor are they properly investing in the property to provide an acceptable visitor experience. I'm done with this property...plenty of other hotel options to choose from.
Clean motel style room with great staff
I came to Claridge inn on my last night before flying home and I’m happy with my choice. The rooms are only a bit outdated and clean for an extremely low nice. I had hiked a long trail in Zion and was looking forward to a soak in the bathtub. When I got to the room there wasn’t a plug for the drain and so I called the front desk. The lady went to the store and bought a drain plug so I could take a bath. Many many thanks! And that should tell you the bathroom is nice if I was willing to take a bath in it!
