a perfect stay. hotel near the train station. the receptionist was very nice and welcoming and speaks Korean perfectly. the drinks are delicious especially the mojito. the breakfast was fresh and very good. the room my bed everything was comfortable

Very good but let down by bathroom faults

I thought the room was great, the staff very helpful. Bar is okay parking very secure and safe. The room nice view of the library and station, really nice. Restaurants nearby all good. Housekeeping excellent regarding bed making, cleaning (see bathroom comment) could not fault. However; 1: toilet seat two of the rubber feet are missing so the toilet seat rocks and moves and it should not. 2: shower tray where it joins the bathroom floor dirty even on day two, dirt and ?lime scale. I cleaned a portion in less than a minute easy to do but not my job. 3: two cracked tiles in the shower in the corner, there Just should not be broken tiles! In a two star I would tolerate however 180 euros a night and a four star rating these faults should not be there. I liked the hotel, I liked the location but attention to detail is required for a 4 star rating and prices.

Excellent for visiting old town and using ferry

Air conditioned, king sized bed, quiet rooms, near beach. Boiling hot outside but rooms stayed lovely and cool. Six minutes from ferry terminal and lots of safe public parking places all round hotel. Near St Malo's modern railway station and easy walk to old town.

A most pleasant stay

Excellent, friendly service. Great, varied breakfast buffet.Top quality Accor mattress, room large & clean. Double-glazing windows not 100% soundproof, though. Very well located to ride local buses to discover the coast and old city. We hope to be back.

Pleasing Break in St Malo and Viewing Other Areas

We had a good three night stay in St Malo also exploring Rennes and Cancale during that period. St Malo is a very interesting port with numerous restaurants and sites. The hotel staff were helpful on all occasions with copy bus timetables and other useful information including chasing a taxi that was late.
