Booked a room for 2 homeless guys to get them out of the weather for Hurricane Ida. When the manager saw they were homeless, the deposit magically went from $50 to $100. I then had to sit through her Ted Talk about how homeless people would destroy her room.I ws also charged a rate for 3 people even though only 2 stayed. Never again.
Avoid this facility like the plague!

This facility was under remodel/construction. It stank of wood/floor glue and other sorts of chemicals.
Cockroaches everywhere in the rooms. One room had a huge corner bath-tub which you had to go up 2 narrow steps to even get in the bathroom. The lights didn't work and the whole room was a safety hazard, let alone being handi-cap compliant.

If I could give this review a ZERO I would. Doors look like bullet holes had been shot in them - bed bugs, cigarette burns on counters, furniture, tub, ROACHES, mattress had stains - no mattress pads, no TV remote, carpet was filthy, no chain to lock inside door, holes in outside eaves, I could go on and on! Believe the reviews - it was bad.
Dirty, smelly room

Definitely the worst hotel experience ever. I have stayed at Ramada resorts and hotels many times, some great, some good, but none as crappy as this one. We arrived Friday night with reservations and the parking lot was littered with trash. The lobby was barred off and there was a sign stating that breakfast was canceled until further notice and check in was through a glass window similar to a prison visitor system. The tiny room was dirty and they charged you $50 cash as a retainer. Trash around the outside area and in the room. We went in the assigned room and immediately smelled musty, moldy air and tried to put the a/c on, which didn't seem to cool. We notice a filthy floor with food crumbs gathered around the bed and a head impression on the pillows and sheets and bed cover loosely covering the bed. Clearly, this room had not been cleaned. We went back to the clerk who apologized to us saying we were the 9th person who refused to stay there that day, stating that she didn't know what the cleaning staff did that day but she would try to find out tomorrow. I actually felt sorry for her. No employee should be subject to what she probably went through that night. As we were leaving to go to another hotel, we clearly heard small arms fire (3 shots) very close by. Don't walk away from this place, run.

I would not advise anyone to stay here. When I went to check in I was greeted with an employee that already had an attitude. Then I was told that I have to give a $50 cash deposit. You would think that information would have been provided when you make the reservation but it was not. Then when we went to our room the door was propped open. They still had food and garbage on the floor so clearly they didn't take the time to clean the room for the next person. Had to take a sleeping pill just to go to sleep because the people next door were outside arguing and being loud. When we got up we went to check out and there I was greeted with 2 other employees with an attitude. First thing she asked when I said I was checking out is "did you leave a cash deposit?" and I said yes. Then she started accusing me of having an attitude when I didn't have one and it just snowballed from there. They refused to give me my cash deposit back. There is no paper trail and I feel this is just one way they rip off people that stay at that sad excuse of a hotel. Pool was closed, no breakfast served, the place was a mess due to remodeling. I will sleep in my car before I get a room from this place again! Don't waste your time or money with this sad excuse of a hotel!
