Charming stay outside Salon

This was a lovely refurbished old building with brand new shower & bath. We took the “table d’hotel” option for a delicious home-cooked dinner for a very inexpensive price. Our hosts were very pleasant and welcoming...free parking was an added bonus, and the breakfast was abundant and included in our reservation...

Nice little 6-room hideaway with a great host/owner, Michael. Room was spacious and so were the grounds. The breakfast is simple, but nice and typical french style and it includes home made goat cheeses, nothing wrong with it. Sufficient parking and the pool is great for a cooling dip. Michael is helpful and has great tips on the sights and restaurant to try, they were good. (We tried all) Highly recommendable. Access tip: my GPS was confused and we came in through the back lanes. Take D538 from Salon de Provence direction Senas. You will see the signage on the left, next to a fruit stall (2nd after Salon if I remember correctly)
Lovely way to spent 3 days touring provence

Spent 3 nights at les masde vergerres. Michael owner could not be nicer. Every morning he set our itinerary for the day. He was right on with his recommendations. Much better then guide books. Breakfast was very pleasant in his garden andmore then adequate. Rooms are simple however very clean and very quiet. The only drawback is his location. Once you know your way around it is not difficult. We had a hard time locating it. I would suggest people call or email michael for directions. If i would comeback to the area i would definately stay there again. Merci michael Eople call or email michael for the directions.

We've staid in this charming b&b a couple of weeks ago. The property is well kept. There is a pool and a child playground. The breakfast is excellent (fresh fruit, croissants, local chevre cheese, etc) and is served in the spacious garden. There is a fridge in a common room, there are glasses, plates, forks&knives and BBQ facilities. The host speaks English and is very helpful with tips on places to visit, local wineries and restaurants. The location is strategic for visitng Provence and if you're tired you can just chill out with a glass of wine in the garden. It's been definitely a very relaxing experience for us. We'll be back!
Very good quality/price ratio

Very nice "gite" (country inn) about 5 minutes from downtown Salon-de-Provence. Given the price point, 85 euros a night, this really cannot be beat. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Pool was too cold at the end of May but I imagine it would be nice later on in the season. This makes a very good base to explore Provence with a town big enough near-by with more than decent restaurants.
