Nice hotel and nicer people!

Reviewed 9 september, 2022

Loved my stay at this hotel. People at the front desk were very hospitable and I really felt valued. Amanda was phenomenal! Rooms were modern and spacious with all the amenities needed. In the common area there was a fire pit was very pleasant. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi were nice additions! Restaurant had good food and the Starbucks was great! Would definitely visit again.

Dog friendly

Reviewed 1 september, 2022

Stopped for a night on a cross country road trip while moving from the East Coast to California. Plenty of parking for our car + trailer, nice clean hotel, spacious room, and dog friendly. Of all the hotels we stayed at (6) this one was the dogs favorite. Nice little courtyard for the dogs to walk in, great downtown location, and less than 10 minutes from the airport.

Showing its age ….

Reviewed 30 july, 2022

Been a while since we’ve been and no changes. Was in a suite but had an old musky smoke smell that was primarily from the age of the hotel. It needs some updating in a big way. Sadly, the on-site store wasn’t open early and the on-site Starbucks didn’t room charge. Breakfast buffet was pretty good with made to serve omelets.

Worst Sheraton Hotel

Reviewed 29 july, 2022

I recently stayed at this Sheraton Hotel and was totally disappointed with my experience. The fact that I used my suite upgrade being a Titanium Elite Bonvoy even made it worse. I have stayed in a number of Sheraton Hotels and by far, this is the worst of them all. First of all, the reception people were not so customer friendly. We came in around 2:20 p.m. thinking that our room will be ready by then. The front desk clerk said that please come back in about 45 minutes as the room is being worked on. We came back an hour later and to my surprise, the room was still not ready and that it will take another 30 minutes or so to be ready. After patiently waiting around, when we finally get to our Suite, it was not at par with Sheraton or Marriott standards. It looked like the remodeling was halted 3/4 of the way as it can be seen with the toilet bowl looking so badly done. Furniture were dusty. The room look so ancient. Breakfast was also bad as there was a human hair with the bacon that was being served. A few of the patrons saw the hair and told the kitchen and finally took away the pan of bacon and replaced it with a new one.

Older property downtown

Reviewed 22 july, 2022

Older property downtown. Our room was quite far and we had to walk to the back of the building to get an elevator. I suggest avoiding these rooms in the back. Nice front desk staff. Room looked old with older carpeting. There was a small refrigerator. The room could have used some updating. We had the buffet breakfast. The breakfast is nice with omelettes made for your liking and nice fluffy pancakes. However, the service was terrible. I asked for decaf coffee and the server said that they do not have. I then asked for sugar packets and the server said that she only has sweetener and no sugar. She obviously did not want to be bothered. It seems that the restaurant has staffing issues. There is a Starbucks at the entrance and you can order ahead on the app to avoid waiting in line. There are two computers and a printer by the front desk but the printer was not working. There is also a souvenir store by the entrance. There was a conference while we were there and the hotel was busy.
