Awesome hotel! Highly recommend!

Reviewed 22 september, 2022

Our room was very nice with a full-size fridge in the kitchenette, a really neat closet organizer, and comfortable beds. The staff, especially Gerri, was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay there again when we return to SLC!

One and Done

Reviewed 16 august, 2022

Smaller hotel located downtown. Room doors don't shut smoothly so take your anger out and slam them shut. Housekeeping is an every other day thing. Someone in my area had two bags of trash sitting outside there room for an entire day before pick up. The whole hallway smelled like fish. The parking is the worst I've seen yet in SLC and I've stayed nearly everywhere. There's two nightclubs neighboring this hotel so if you go on a weekend forget about parking. You'll get kicked to the overflow shady garage parking for $10 a night because party goers take up the hotel parking with no enforcement. Then bring earplugs because all you hear is music and yelling until 2 a.m. Expect to see homeless people sleeping on benches around the hotel. They said this place caters to long term stay but I can't imagine people working and dealing with these issues on a regular. Who could afford parking a car for $10 a night on a long term stay. Unreal. The rooms are on the small side but done up nice.

Service leaves alot to be desired

Reviewed 14 may, 2022

The room doors don't actually shut unless they are slammed, disturbing others on the floor. The front desk staff is very limited. We specifically called to make sure they had 24 hrs coffee &hot water available downstairs because we don't use the in-room machines that generally have a lot of bacteria in them. No coffee or hot water. The night person says they cannot leave the front desk to make it, so even in the early am (5am-6am) nothing...."oh the other person isn't here yet so we cannot make any" Then we also saw numerous 'holds' on our charge card which shouldn't have been, and the front desk guy (Tru) said he couldn't tell me anything about it - said well if they were inaccurate he was sure Marriott would resolve it'. When I asked for a manager, I was told I would have to call back on Monday AM (this is Saturday am) because there is no one there to talk to until then. (Oh and the breakfast available is far less (and worse) then at other Town place suites we have been to. Complained to Marriott (We are Platinum Elite with Marriott by the way) and we will not stay here again.

Horrible Parking, Small room

Reviewed 8 may, 2022

after pulling up and checking in we were directed to drive halfway around the block where they had about a dozen spots which were obviously full. after driving around the block again we asked where we were supposed to park. we were again directed to drive around the block to a public parking garage. after parking I asked the gate attendant about the "2hour only" parking signs he stated you cannot park there you have to park on the 3rd or 4th floor. after parking and unloading luggage we discovered the way down to street level was what appeared to be a narrow fire escape style stairway on the side of the structure. I can't imagine what a family with small children and belongings would do other than leaving the garage that allows a one time exit then you have to pat another $10 for parking. after passing thru an alley to the side of the building we were able to enter. Once we made it into the room we discovered the pullout bed butts up against the end of the main bed forcing you to crawl over the bed to get to the bathroom. When I asked t for a refund in the morning I was met with a blank stare. I will NEVER stay there again and suggest others to stay away from this one.

Loud music next door that vibrates the room

Reviewed 21 april, 2022

Agreed with the previous reviews that the rooms facing certain sides are very noisy at night due to multiple night scenes next door. We have experience the same noise issue and reported to the front desk but nothing could be done as the hotel was sold out.
