I was dissapoited with this hotel

Reviewed 25 march, 2019

This hotel has a false advertise saying they a boutique hotel. Hotel is old, dirty and the bathroom was flooding when we were taking a shower. The view from our room was beautiful but the beach, is ugly and you can not even walking. when we open the water in the morning the pipes smell bad. It was a disgusting. I do not recommend this place as hotel boutique. They might get 2 stasr because the view and because the employees who were friendly.. pool was ok. We were really disappointed because we wanted a nice place to relax after our trekking at Vale do Paty - Chapada Diamantina . And also, we choose this hotel because was near a nice beaches Flamengo and Stella Maris. The hotel didn't satisfied our expectation and price were very expensive for what we received. To become a Hotel Boutique this place needs a huge investments to change everything.

Dusk view

Reviewed 10 december, 2018

Not even an hour to historical sites of city proper from here. Staffs seem to be below par during evenings. Other times, ok but evenings, they seem to loose their bearing. Amazing dusk views from balcony. Who wants to be behind desk at dusk?

Hotel management is missing ...

Reviewed 5 september, 2018

Nice hotel right on the beach with great outdoor pool surrounded by palm trees. The hotel has an “African” flavor with spacious rooms decently furnished. Breakfast is a kind of Ok ...nothing special to say the truth. We had one dinner in the hotel which turned out to be acceptably good and quite cheap ( even for the local standard ) The beach in front of the hotel is nearly unusable as many fishermen leave boats there BUT it’s enough to walk few hundreds meters to left and you really have paradisiac beaches Problems came with personnel !! Waiters are rough and totally unable to smile. Whatever you politely ask it gives the impression you’re disturbing them. Receptionists ( with exception of Karim that was indeed helpful) are a pure disaster. I’ve got the impression owner(s) left the hotel in the hands of incapable people. That’s a pity because the hotel has plenty of potentialities !

Very nice inexpensive hotel on beach in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil

Reviewed 8 august, 2018

Nice big room with good sized balcony with comfortable chairs. No view from balcony but very comfortable. Felt secure on grounds of hotel and on beach in front of the hotel. Chose this hotel as I arrived one day before the rest of my family in Salvador. Used Uber to return to the airport the next day to meet them and it worked fine. Decent breakfast. My only complaint was that the wine selection at dinner was very limited. Usually drink white wine but none available in a reasonable price range. Tried the Brazilian red and one glass was more than enough. Pretty bad. One more thing. There is no elevator but the staff was more than helpful getting my luggage to the second floor. I don't speak Portuguese but everyone was understanding and did better with English than I did with Portuguese. I will use this hotel again when traveling to Salvador.
