Insecure and dirty

Reviewed 1 january, 2020

My room is located on the floor that get you to the parking lot and street, next to an exit door, I left my door locked and hanged the “please don’t bother” sign, I was sleeping when suddenly someone violently tried to open my door, the tiny lock was the only thing that kept the person from entering, I yelled and the door was left opened. I called the reception and they told me that “Someone should confused their room with mine and that I must have let my door opened”, It was horrifying. Also the toilet didn’t worked, the sink had toothpaste stains and the shower lots of hair. Terrible experience.

Amazing view of Angelopolis Puebla !

Amazing view of Puebla, Luxurious hotel in Angelopolis Puebla, ideal for business or visiting, however, the best thing in the hotel is the view from the tower and ask for the 8th floor you will not regret.

Terrible!

Reviewed 16 september, 2019

We visited Puebla for the Independence Day “puente” in México from Sunday to Monday. We have stayed in Camino real on several other occasions so we thought this would be a good stay but it was a complete deception. The hotel rooms were dirty, the gym was in terrible conditions, dirty, the machines didn’t work. We were given just a couple of towels and when we requested more they didn’t want to give us more because they said that they’re were full, at last when we got more towels all of them were torn. It is a very noisy place, you can hear everything from outside. The plumbery is terrible when someone flushes the toilet the room vibrates. The beds are hard and move all the time. We spoke to several managers through out our stay and nothing but excuses were given to us. They didn’t change our room or even check what was going on. Puebla is an amazing place just don’t stay here.

we had a very pleasant stay

I was shocked to see so many negative reviews! Our experience was quite lovely at this hotel and we are accustomed to 5 star luxury resorts. We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate a friend's wedding. We had a suite which was extremely affordable. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were quite lovely and even though we spoke NO Spanish - they were very patient with us and friendly as we had to use google translate to communicate. There were few hotel workers that spoke any English. The restaurant was quite good and we enjoyed breakfast there every morning. The hotel is a bit out of the way from the historic district but otherwise a very pleasant stay with very pleasant staff.

More like a 2 star

I have stayed at Camino Reals all one MX. This is not even closed to the brand. Dirty, smelly, run down, cheaply built. The floor in my room was so dirty, my socks became black. Sinks backed up, some faucets did not have hot water.
