Two night stay
Pros - great location to airport, restaurants and major attractions. Beds are wonderful and very comfortable with top of line sheets. Check in was fast and easy Cons - Air conditioning could not keep up with 100 degree weather. The suite had two window unit and one kept freezing up. We had a group there of 4 others and all said their rooms were to warm as well. Shower had low pressure. If you have long or thick hair it took forever to wash your hair. Showers are tiny tubs - baths are out of question unless you’re a child. Breakfast is very limited with COVID. Yogurt and tiny pig in blanket with small triangle has town offerings. Some pre pkg cereal bars and yogurts. Nothing we were use to getting at other hotels with our other recent travels, even with COVID The Pool was very cloudy. It needed better water and chemical maintenance. The majority of Staff were very nice. One front desk lady seemed angry when asked a question but we shrugged it off to her having a bad day. Def did not smile or act like she liked her job. Prob will not stay here again just due to poor air conditioning and water pressure issues.
A positive experience
My first time staying here. Due to Covid 19 extra precautions taken for check in and hotel not busy. I was put on 10th floor and had a view of San Antonio airport runways. Room large, great ac, and water temperature. The king bed was comfortable too. Staff friendly and kind. I would stay again!
A relaxing getaway with amazing service!
My husband and I decided to have a night away from the normal week and have a "staycation". My husband was still at work, so I went to check in ahead of him. I was promptly greeted by a lovely front desk agent, Ruby. I told her that I was hoping to have a room that was quiet and away from everyone. All I wanted was some peace and quiet for a night. She quickly knew where would be a perfect spot, but it needed to be cleaned. So I said I was happy to wait and took a seat in the lobby use my computer. She quickly was on the phone with the cleaning staff to tend to the room she was setting me up in. We ended up chatting a little while and she also gave me ideas for dinner nearby. The room was quickly ready and she checked me in. Ruby told me that she wanted our stay to be pleasant and that if she could do anything to make our experience better, to please let her know. Our room was very clean and extremely comfortable. She put us in an area where it was quiet and peaceful. My husband and I were so happy! We went to the bar for drinks and had great service from the staff there too. And for breakfast, we were also pleased with our server. We saw Ruby in the morning and she was just so pleasant and glad we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others!
comfortable stay
Nicely renovated, comfortable clean room & bed, good internet access, cable channels including HBO. Close to airport, but room was quiet. Pool area was still undergoing renovation, but did not expect it to be open October. Breakfast was expensive, so I did not eat @ the hotel. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby.
Newly Renovated, New Management & Great Service!
We travel to San Antonio regularly for business and pleasure and have stayed at several hotels. We chose the Crowne Plaza San Antonio International Airport this past visit and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has undergone a complete renovation and has new management and staff. They all went out of their way to handle our requests and make sure we were comfortable. We highly recommend the Crowne Plaza San Antonio International Airport and look forward to returning soon.
