Always a great experience at the Bayfront. Beautiful views of the city and harbor with awesome service. The only downside at this point is that their renovated restaurant has still not opened. Currently, they are serving meals in the bar/lounge area.

Overall a perfect spot with a beautiful view and place to walk. The service is wonderful. I went to a conferemce and it was well run. The am was professional. There’s a Starbucks downstairs and a yogurt place where there is dole whip!

Good location and overall service but failed at room cleanliness

I stay at Hilton hotels often and main reason is cleanliness of rooms. So I was very disappointed to find out a pillow with blood stains and a very noisy bed in this $500/night room. The room also smelled like bleach. Otherwise room had a good view very spacious ec.

Stayed a few days after New Year in Monterey. As Diamond Member got a room upgrade to 29th floor- no 2 queen corner room available, only king corner which wouldn't work for myself and wife and two teen girls. Room was nice, a bit cramped but doable for a few days. Great view of bay and city. Looks like they recently upgraded room but they could have gotten rid of tub/shower with curtain and put in walk in/step in with glass. Walking distance to Gaslamp and Seaport Village for eating and drinks, and desert. As a Diamond member I received $24 daily credit for meals as there is no buffet which helped though breakfast was pricey in hotel. Staff was very nice and attentive and Karin at the concierge was great. She ironed out mess on one of the activities we did for them and gave us credit on nightly resort fee ( $35) for hassle. Lady who ran breakfast area was very nice and friendly. Only one place to eat at moment but they are working on Grab and Go area and reopening main restaurant. Pretty good gym and nice pool area. It was a good value since I used points and cash to pay for 3 nights. Overall a good stay!

Want to document how poorly I was treated tonight by your SD, CA Bayfront Hilton staff particularly the manager Andy and associate Sarah. I booked 2 rooms...1 with a NYE event and 1 later bc we realized we wanted to bring our kids as well. I booked under the military rate for the 2nd room as i always have for almost 20 years across the country with 0 issue. Apparently there is fine print that I need orders. The room under the military rate when booked was a reduction of 20 dollars from $189 to 169. Andy and Sarah said now since I didnt have orders they could only give me a new room for $293! I asked if could anything be done..perhaps a grace period as i am not a recidivist or serial abuser of this policy. Andy rudely informed me "he never approves anything for anyone in these situations" ok wow..."andy can we then just have the original rate of 189"? He states no...293 or nothing . I calmly asked if there was anything he could do for us??? It was an honest mistake and we only booked the additional room bc we were victims of a breaking last week and felt uneasy with the kids @ home were and loyal hilton customers. In addition we waited 90 minutes in line to check in and be told this. His answer: No and he walked away. What he did let us do... and this is MYOPIC AT BEST & STUPID AT WORST is cancel both reservations over this dispute!!! Were disappointed that our NYE event is ruined but more so that Hilton just lost 224+169$ (total 393$) over a minor administrative dispute! Insane. While I should have read your fine print...do you like losing money? I'm fairly certain....head heart and gut this is the last experience I ever have with a Hilton. You don't respect loyal customers, wont work with people, and price gauge. Its disgusting TBH. Best part of my night was not staying here. If you're considering it...seriously.avoid it. Weve done the Hard rock across the street many times and so much better. We did this bc of the NYE event..BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: so many better options to spend your money at.
