We were happy about our stay there. This is a typical chain hotel, with not much character. We had nothing to complain about: the room was clean and spacious, good location, walking distance to town centre. The balconies offer no privacy, the walls between them so low, you could easily walk to a neighboring room. The pool area has no shade.
Good Choice in Campeche

The hotel is located very conveniently near a main entrance to the charming Centro. We requested a pool/ocean view which was nice and we greatly appreciated the cooling breeze. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The hotel is very clean as they take covid seriously. There is ample room for parking on site. I do wish the rooms had a refrigerator and the pool area had more plants and more umbrellas.
Perfect choice for Campeche

This is a typical chain hotel type property - nothing special in terms of character but good, spacious and modern rooms. The service was good. I was glad to pay a little more and get a head-on sea view in a king junior suite. Breakfast is extra but there are many other options just a short walk away in the old town if you prefer. Location is perfect, with the malecon right in front of you and the old town right behind. I would happily stay there again!
Great place to visit

Location! Sea view from every room. Close to beautiful old town and super nice and clean „by-the-sea walk”. Sunset and everything. Very kind staff, room was spacious and clean. Good and clean pool, where you can drink a bear. I strongly recommend this place
indeed, the best place to stay in Campeche

Something interesting happened here.
At the beginning, my husband and I, have booked a room in this hotel for a night because we read that wifi was ok. The room seemed dated, but because of the view, the space, the large bathroom, we agreed to stay one night.
While walking in the historical centre, we also visited other well rated hotels in Campeche. Not only that they were empty, but they looked horrible, with no breakfast, no view, no space in the room or the bathroom.
We came back after that walking tour very happy about the decision of staying at Gamma. It was really the best you can find in the area...so we booked other 3 more nights.
The shower was hot, the room was having space, the bed was so comfortable and the view....amazing. The breakfast was very good (american breakfast with coffee, juice, plate of fruits, eggs, butter) and the staff was also very nice.
It was an excellent decision to stay here!
