First trip to San Francisco

Please be aware that this hotel is not in the best part of town and parking will be first come only. The rooms are smaller than what I expected but we spent little time there. Due to covid the front desk had no city maps so research before you come. It could be considered within walking distance to Fisherman's Warf but we had limited time so paid for parking in a garage for 5/hour. The hilight of our trip was the Cable cars that opened while we were there at no cost!
Basic lodging safe and clean.

Definitely an average hotel. If you need a clean, but basic place primarily to sleep, this is fine. Right now there is no breakfast, but coffee tea and juice are available 24/7. Rooms all have mini fridges and microwaves. First floor is actually a flight of stairs up, I have not seen an elevator. Very small garage. I don't think as a woman I'd feel good walking at night alone around the area of hotel, but that's just me. Basic amenities in terms of bath products. Sheets are clean. Bathroom was average too.
Don’t stay here

I mainly chose this place because I was in a rush as we we’re leaving two nights before on a spontaneous weekend trip and one of the main things I looked for was continental breakfast which they said they had. After staying the night in this awful dirty room, I called the front desk to see when breakfast was and they said they weren’t doing it anymore. The bed was awful and there were stains on the chairs and bed as well as mold in the bathroom and it stank like cigarettes. I spent $145 for the worst room I’ve ever stayed in!

Great people and accommodations. Would definitely stay there again. Staff went above and beyond their duties. Sure hope they are compensated appropriately. Wish I would have gotten the ladies name that checked us in and out.
smelly rooms and thin walld

Room smelled like smoke. The cleanliness was hard to judge given the smell and poor maintenance. In addition, noise carry's easily through the wall. They seem to compensate by limiting how loud the tv will go. That does nothing to drown out other 'activities' happening right next door.
