Car was Broken Into

Reviewed 11 august, 2022

You can’t beat the location of this Aloft-Freeway access , restaurants, shopping, etc. Hotel was great. Management was great. What was not great was the parking. I was told the parking is Public. It is shared by 2 restaurants, gas station and the Aloft. So, you are at risk parking there. My very, very expensive car was broken into. The alarm didn’t go off because no doors were opened. They tried prying my doors open and then hit my roof. They finally broke a window. Again, great hotel. Do not leave valuables in your car.

I stayed here twice in July, and would definitely come back again. Easy parking and plenty of it, friendly staff (Thank you Ryan for going out of your way when we showed up early to get a room) Nice clean lobby and cozy quiet pool area. It's nothing big and fancy here, but clean and low stress due to easy parking and good location if you are a fan of Mitsuwa. It's just across the street which was great, along with other cute little restaurants and a great bakery (Clover bakery), Rooms were decent. The only negative was that on our 2nd stay, there were a few fruit flies in our room that I kept having to try to get rid of. Positives were great coffee in the lobby in the morning that was free, and easy parking.

July 5-8 stay

The hotel is modern design, with a very nice pool and hot tub that unfortunately we couldn’t use. I really like the pool table and the ambience, hardwood floors in the rooms… the kitchen staff is super friendly , the front desk is attentive and professional. The had some issues but solved them fast. Bravo. I would stay here again. Btw - if you like Japanese food, , just a cross the street many great Japanese restaurants. Shay and Guy

Don't plan on getting any sleep.

The walls are so thin you can hear the people talking in the next room. If a T.V. is on you get to hear that also. One night the person in the room next to me was on a conference call and I could hear their entire conversation. Another night, I think Sasquatch was in the room above me. I could hear every footstep. The first night a co-worker got his truck broken into and the staff was sympathetic but said there was nothing they could do. The street noise is off the charts. If a vehicle makes a noise, you can hear it. Let alone the idiots in the high-performance cars racing from light to light all night. It's so bad, you can hear people coming and going to and from their cars talking and laughing and the car doors closing. And I was on the second floor. The last night someone was doing donuts in the parking lot where the guest parking is. The parking is dark with no security. That was the final straw. I left a day early and got another hotel. I will never stay at an ALOFT again. It was a sleepless horrible experience. Also, the beds are so hard it's like trying to sleep on a pool table. I went out and bought an air mattress in an attempt to get some better sleep. Didn't help much because of the noise.

Great personnel

Pretty average as far as hotels go but you know that when you book. However, the people working at the place are phenomenal. Everyone is personable, friendly, and do there best to be accommodating. Big shout out to Derek and Kat working at the bar who made my stay here for a month great.
