Nice and close location, right across from Walgreens and CVS and in the heart of Conrado. Several restaurants are right around the corner from Asian buffets to local Puerto Rican cuisines. The beach is also just a block and a half away with your hotel key you get access to a private beach next to the Tryst. The name is also called the best western plus, but is also Conrado Palms inn and suites.

I would consider staying at Best Western (great location and clean room) but it could be better if the front door staff were better trained. I asked for a wake up call that never came and although the pool/jacuzzi was very nice, there was never any towels.

Disappointment after disappointment

Nine family members and myself came to this hotel for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration, only to almost have it ruined. The problems begin at check-in, 6 people in our group had already checked in earlier, the last 4 of us ran into unnecessary issues. The hotel didn't have my name or the anniversary couple. The tour company straightened this out. We were 2 to a room, with one bar of soap. one wash cloth. I had to ask the front desk to remind the housekeeping staff to place enough towels and wash cloths for 2 (they never did). My room was clean (others weren't so lucky, the anniversary couple had a room with a filthy carpet, and housekeeping skipped cleaning their room. They were in the tower where major construction was underway). On the hotel website, they have a picture of a room with chairs on the balcony...this is a JOKE! There were no chairs, the balconies aren't wide enough to accommodate a chair, there's no sitting and relaxing on the balcony. Now about the breakfast, it cost $12, and it was awful, we ate at the hotel once and never again. Thank goodness, there were many very good restaurants near the hotel. Some members of our group had stayed at this hotel 6 years ago, and they loved it, so this was the reason it was chosen. I wouldn't recommend the Best Western Plus Candado Palm Inn & Suites to my friends. The one thing I will give the hotel credit for is the front desk staff is knowledgeable and helpful about services and restaurants in the area. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the young lady that basically saved me from being turned away from my next destination, Charlotte Amalie, USVI. I needed a COVID test in order to enter the territory, the young lady at the front desk directed me to a lab, that was within walking distance from the hotel. I truly appreciated her for this

Today is Saturday May be that’s why the price was 300$ per day but for the price I paid the room I got was a crappy one and the sad part is I asked the front desk gentleman “can you give me a nice room “and he nodded. When I opened the room I felt like a slap in my face haha Anyways good thing is the place is walking distance(2min walk) to the beach, Walgreens and lots of eateries.

My partner and I had the honor of hosting our Vow Renewal Ceremony at this property. After 8+ months of planning and preparing, this past weekend was our event and the Condado Palm Inn DID NOT DISAPOINT. Staff: First let me say this, the staff at this property (from the front desk agents, janitorial and kitchen team) were/are phenomenal. I travel very often (whether it be professionally and personally). I also have stayed in a variety level of hotels…. the constant professionalism is UNMATCHED. This property would be considered mid-level (which would be 3 or 4 stars), but you are always made to feel like you’re staying at a 5 star property. My two contacts of the hotel that I’ve worked with were Loany Torres and Ivzalia Vega. These women were a breath of fresh lavender air (which is what the hotel smells like)-lol. From the very first moment of my interacting with them, I felt that our event was in safe hands. Not only are these women a part of the hotel’s management Team, they were also personable and presently available for any kind of matter. Thank you ladies for your time in helping to make our ceremony a dream. The hotel/rooms: As I spoke on earlier, the property was clean…and I mean CCCLLLEEEAAANNN, from the lobby restrooms to the pool area, this hotel is clean. You will often see housekeeping cleaning rooms and hallways all day long. Please do not hesitate to ask for help, because the Housekeeping Team is more than willing to assist you. Overall: Prior to our event this past weekend, I/We’ve stayed at this property “at least” 4 times within the last 3 years. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this property. The Condado Palm Inn seems to consistently attempt to make the hotel better. From remodeling rooms and suites to updating elevator systems; from expanding the food options to creating an in-house breakfast/lunch Café; this hotel is always improving their level of comfort, convenience for their guests. I will definitely recommend you staying at this property on your next visit to San Juan.
