Super Clean & Nice

Such wonderful hotel staff with nice and extremely clean rooms. Only wish they had complementary shuttle service for hotel guests within a 5 miles radius around the hotel. Great location to next door grocery stores and/or Walmart.

Great affordable hotel
Reviewed 19 july, 2019
Stayed here bc 3 other hotels were booked, regardless we had a great stay. Extremely clean hotel, cold ac, good breakfast , affordable and short walking distance to couple stores. Staff was beyond welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel again. Centro is a bit far but no big deal just catch an Uber or taxi. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here

Fun stay at San Luis Potosi La Quinta
Reviewed 7 january, 2019
Spent a few days at San Luis Potosi with the family and had a terrific time. La Quinta Personnel were very courteous and made the stay very relaxing and fun. Spent the majority of the time at the historic downtown area.

Not worth the effort to find it
Reviewed 22 january, 2018
No information was given when we booked rooms as to how hard it is to locate the property. Spent 2 hours driving up and down in Friday night rush hour traffic-I asked 4 different people in the area if they knew it, one being a policeman. Finally stopped at a rival hotel and the van driver said he would lead us there as it's "impossible" to find otherwise. Desk clerk admitted we were not the first to experience this, as the hotel is down a little alleyway. As we followed the van driver in (he had a ticket to open the gate) we parked and went in. Next morning they wouldn't let us leave until they ran the security cameras to confirm our story. This took 25 minutes of road time and left me and my friend with very negative feelings about the hotel and their failure to make staying there possible. I suggest one of the other, visible, hotels along that stretch of highway.

Nice Hotel with Safe Parking
Reviewed 18 august, 2017
This hotel is a bit more expensive than other similar hotels in the area, but is nicely apportioned. The thing I prefer about the LQ is that the parking lot is enclosed and patrolled 24/7 by guards. I never had a problem with my vehicle there, even when I was towing a trailer with things like bikes and ladders on the outside of my vehicle. The rooms are comfortable, especially the beds. The shower was average, with very low water pressure. You have to leave the keycard in the slot by the door in order to keep the power and A/C running all night, but you get used to that. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, like a steakhouse/buffet and a Chili's, as well as a few fast-food options, but the neighborhood isn't the safest to be walking around in at night. The morning breakfast is average.
