This is the second stay-cation we’ve done at the San Ramon Marriott in 3 months. The service is constantly fantastic, from the front desk staff (Sue!) to the bartenders and servers. The rooms are clean, the back patio is spacious, the pool is a great size and my 3 kids LOVE the beanbags in the pool. It’s never super crowded and there is plenty of parking. We’ll keep coming back. Thanks again for a great stay!

Located off Interstate 680 near shopping (Target, Home Goods, Shops at Bishop Ranch, Starbucks and other restaurants). Looking for exercise, there is the Iron Horse Regional Trail nearby. Luis and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. When in any public spaces in the hotel, you are expected to wear a face mask. There is on-site parking for a daily fee of $12.00.. As is with other Marriott properties, the housekeeping staff will not come into your room durning your stay. If you need anything, call the front desk. This brand of the Marriott hotels did not offer a free grab and go breakfast, They have a small area next to the front desk that has beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), snacks/other food items and extra toiletries for a fee. There are coin operated laundry machines available. The room has a small fridge. Trail size shampoo/conditioner/body wash small bar of soap are in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The A/C didn't seem to get the room very cold. Free WiFi that was spotty at times. No safe in the room to put valuables. The pool was open but you needed to make a reservation ahead of time. They were offering 2 hour time slots for pool usage. The workout facility was closed.

We stayed for 3 days. Very covid concious. Room was very clean and smelled good. Because of Covid housekeeping had to be requested. We did not feel the need to do that. Left towels and recycling outside the door. Called the desk and it was removed quickly. We just picked up fresh towels at front desk upon our return each day. Cleaned and individually wrapped for safety. Pool was open restaurants still closed. We were very happy.
Conference Center blocks internet & phone usage

Evan as a guest, don’t count on using the internet if you’re attending a conference. This Marriott blocks data to cellular service as well as guest internet if you inside or near the perimeter of the conference hall. I walked outside of the parking lot just to make a phone call. I could not check into my flight. The business center computers were not connect to service either. I left my children at home for business trip. They couldn’t contact me even through text message. I’m a regular business traveler. I’ll pick Hilton it IHG next time.
We are over this place

My wife and I have stayed here about a dozen times or so over the last decade when we come down to visit family- each time it seems to get worse. Room service comes in little plastic bins and bags now, complete with plastic utensils... toast in a freaking envelope! (they also have forgotten key components to the meal the last two times we ordered) The funny thing is, in the shower there is a little sign asking guests to hang their towel up for reuse, to 'help the environment'... really? This last time our room had a huge AC unit right outside the window with no view (or should I say a view of a rooftop, complete with trash thrown from windows above)... humming away all day and night- The time before this one, I forgot my computer charger in the room- I called the next day so a family member could pick it up, only the housekeeping didn't turn it in (add another $50 to that stay). 3 of the last 4 times we have had to ask to change our room, as it was muggy w/o adequate air circulation, the refrigerator didn't work or it was just plane unsat. You would think staying at the same hotel as many times as we have here (especially at $300 a night for a basic room) they would have it in the system and occasionally give a free upgrade or something- NEVER have we been offered and upgrade- well, let me restate that, the first couple times we stayed here it was great and were given upgrades and free meal vouchers and the whole nine, any time we were inconvenienced or whatever, the way hotels like this are SUPPOSED to operate- but that was like 8 years ago... they had us hooked- and now they lost us.
