Stayed here with friends last week. The rooms were generous in size, extremely comfortable beds and great bathrooms. All spotlessly clean. The staff were charming and extremely helpful, even going the extra mile and calling the bus company that has double charged me for tickets. Resolving the problem which wasn't straight forward. The location is great and everything is in easy walking distance. The breakfasts were lovely with gluten free options available. The walk along the front to the old town is lovely and only 30 minutes at most. Would happily stay here again.

Very good location. Away from old town (30 mins walk or 10 mins in bus) but very close to the Concha beach , Miramar Palace and funicular to the amusement park. Many bus stops around so easy to travel around. Lots of bars and cafes near the hotel and also super market few minutes away. Breakfast was amazing - I was surprised. Different menus on both days I stayed. Single room is very tiny but well equipped. Walls are very thin so you can hear everyone and everything from the adjacent room. If you a light sleeper ask for a corner most of quiet room. I thought it was very expensive since it didn't feel 4 star - no tea/coffee maker or bath robes etc which is standard. To me it was a good 3 star hotel.

Not a four star hotel!

I am sorry, but having renovations in the hotel in such a scope without notifying the guests in advance, allowing them to rebook - is unprofessional and outrageous. The sign on the elevator is a joke. You should have emailed, explaining the works while guests in the hotel already is disrespectful. If you eould send a message notifying there renovations in such a scale, I would rebook to a different hotel. There were constant drilling, banging and workers shouting ALL day long. I am sorry, but this is not a four star hotel standard. Maybe the chain is, but this hotel is not. Rooms are very old. You can hear the noise from other rooms. No safety box (there is one with a key - but no key - and come one, a manual safety box in a four star hotel? Very little power sockets in the room. Very old furniture and less than basic breakfast. San Sebastian is lucky that after two days I moved to another four star hotel so I knew that it is not the level here, but a problem with this specific hotel. And finally - wifi never worked which was very problematic for me. Never ever in this chain again!

Hotel was being renovated and the noise commenced early in the morning and even on Sunday. This did not make the holiday restful especially as this was our first holiday in 2 years are Covid. I believe that I should have been informed when I booked the hotel that it was being renovated.

Carlos is wonderful.

The stay was short. Everything was wonderful. The food was very good. Most of all, Carlos at the front desk was so helpful resolving some travel issues. Carlos is king. I also enjoyed the location near the beach. It was a delightful visit. Thank you Carlos.
