Consideration and good taste characterize this singular villa, located at one end of the city of Sancti-Spíritus. The harmonic succession of natural elements grants the building a pleasant decor, among its main appeals. Here, visitors will find all they need to be able to visit places of tourist importance found nearby: the house of patriot Serafín Sánchez and the Main Church. Further away is colonial Trinidad, a city rich in history and local customs that dates back to 1514, which has been declared by UNESCO a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Birthday gift to my boyfriend
Reviewed 4 august, 2019
I have 2 nights to my my boyfriend a birthday and it was a total waste of money. He checked out one night earlier. I have to mention he is Cuban.check in was good he got a villa, but that's only because a foreigner reserved it, because he was told he has to vacant the room the next day , because of the fact he was Cuban. The first night dinner was inedible, breakfast was little lunch bad second dinner the same ,,one hour wait for food and horrible. In the whole hotel there was no beer or bottled water to get so he had to actually take a taxi into sancti spiritus to purchase that. The pool water was dirty and unhealthy looking, all I say is stay away. I am writing this review for him but I have been there and i agree with his findings,
Coffee stop, didn't look that good

We stopped here for a coffee stop on a Titan tour as it's just off the main road so I am only reviewing what I came across & that was the toilets for the pool side area & well take someone with you as the doors have no locks & they swing out so you can't even put your bag against them to stop them from opening. Lots of flies in there as well so remember your insect repellent. I sat on a pool side lounger for a while & the pool looked clean & well maintained but not a tourist in sight a lonely place during the day. Lots of noise I think there was a factory or quarry nearby.

Good: -The room & beds were new and comfortable Room for improvement: -There was either no water at all, or a little bit of cold water. We were unable to shower during our stay here. -Everything was scarce in this place. After three weeks in Cuba you are very used to food and drinks being unavailable. But here there was almost nothing. -The only recreational facility on site, the bar, was closed.
OLD WORLD V RUN DOWN
Reviewed 6 march, 2016
I have recently returned from a very pleasant tour of Cuba with GTI travel in Ireland. We were a group of 35 people with a majority in their 50's & 60's. We spent three nights in the Hotel Los Laureles. The trip was advertised as using a mix of 3 & 4 star hotels. This hotel was at best of 2 star rating. It boosts a very fine swimming pool area with comfortable seating. The rooms are dowdy, dated and in some cases unclean. Showers are sparse and furniture minimal. Our bed was reasonably comfortable. The air-conditioning is very loud and old which makes it unusable. Food was on a par with Cuban cuisine. There was a very negative vibe from reception staff. The hotel is 5/6 Kms.. from the town. All in all the low point of our trip.
Good for 1 night

During our trip in West Cuba, we slept 1 night in Villa Los Laureles. It is a simple hotel where tourgroups come. The rooms are in separated buildings in the garden. Our room was big enough, quiet and cleaning was OK, but the building is very old and in urgent need of a renovation! The big plus of the complex is the outside swimmingpool. The restaurant offers a simple buffet in the morning and for diner. You can eat outside if you like. It is a simple place for a night on the road and good for visiting Santa Clara
