Quick stop for night

Driving north from Florida, we needed a hotel for the night. Once we crossed the Florida/Georgia line, I started looking at Marriott’s for availability from Atlanta/Kennesaw south. We are loyal to the Marriott brand (mainly due to points). There was no availability for a room that sleeps 4. We were fortunate to find this hotel, out of the way but only by about 6 miles. The hotel seems to be in a residential area or strange commercial area. The street it is on caused us to think we were in the wrong place until it appeared. The hotel itself seems brand new—looks and smells new. We felt very safe there even though we arrived late at night. We checked in around 11:30pm. Several families were out and about in the lobby. We were promptly checked in and handed a paper with how the hotel is handling the COVID pandemic. Heading up to our room, we walked past another guest room blasting Kanye. Thankfully, we were not next to them. I feel bad for whoever was. Our room was further down the hall. It was a room with 2 queens and a pullout sofa bed. It was fairly clean. A few hairs were in the bathroom, readily seen so housekeeping missed them. Breakfast was only opened for 2 hours in the morning. It was hopping, as every guest who wanted breakfast had a short window to get there. Basic breakfast fare—scrambled eggs, Oatmeal, waffles, fruit (oranges/bananas), yogurt and coffee. If we needed to stop again, we’d stay at this property again. We were there less than 10 hours so I can’t comment on other amenities. What we experienced was fine.
Best Springhill Suites I have stayed in

I am Marriott Titanium Member and have stayed in many Springhill Suites. This hotel was outstanding. Elana at the front desk could not have been nicer and the hotel was immaculate, including the pool area and common spaces. I highly recommend this property.
Nice hotel, very clean, great location to a lot of restaurants! Within walking distance of the Marta. We will be back!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was very nice, clean and smelled clean! The pool area was a nice, we spent a lot of time there due to the weather! The only reason I’m not giving this hotel a 5 was due to the elevator. One of them was not working and the other one was not reliable. The working one had a mind of its own and would randomly stop at every floor, with no one there. The breakfast was nothing spectacular, they did offer 2 hot items daily. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention LeBaron Bass the manager, I feel like he goes above and beyond his call of duty! My husband would go to get coffee at 6am he was already on the job and was often there till 10:00 at night. He is someone that loves his job and will go the extra for the guests.
Decent hotel but didn't feel safe

My son and I stayed at this hotel for one night recently. I choose to stay at the hotel based on the reviews of this hotel and others in the area. Check-in was stated to be 3pm. We arrive at 2:45pm and our room wasn't ready yet, although I see other people checking in around us at the same time. We leave and come back 40 minutes later and thankfully our room was now available. The reason I am giving it only 3 stars is because we did not feel safe at this hotel. My son was working a late shift and came back to the hotel at midnight and there were a lot of people loitering outside in front of the hotel and in the parking lot and he could smell weed heavily. It also states the pool closes at 10pm however there were people out there well past that time just hanging out. The room itself was decent. I liked the layout, it was different than other hotels I've stayed at. We stayed in a king room with a sofa bed. The room has a small living room area with a sofa and TV. There is a small nook off the living area that had a desk and bar area, which had a mini-fridge and microwave. The sofa had a twin size trundle bed. The bed area was cramped, barely enough walking room around each side of the bed. The bathroom entrance was right at the foot of the bed. If you're laying in the bed, you're looking directly into the bathroom, which I didn't like. The mattress was comfortable and the pillows were decent. The bathroom itself was roomy. It had a large vanity with a good size walk-in shower. The walls are thin and I could hear slamming doors all night and all morning. The elevator was slow and only one was operational. We ended up using the stairs each time because there was always a wait. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Great stay. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it. Elaine made the whole experience that much better and I will definitely recommend this place to friends. This place was just what I needed for out small trip out of town and I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and staff.
