Best Hotel Stay in DuBois!
Over the years I have stayed at just about every hotel in DuBois and recently tried the Fairfield Inn. Without a doubt probably the best accommodations in the area. The desk staff and room attendant were very cheerful and friendly. The lobby and my room were very clean. Loved the large shower and the fact it didn't have a tub. The king size mattress was very comfortable. My only 2 negatives was the fact that all sleeping pillows were very soft. I think they need to intermingle a couple of firmer pillows to offset the soft ones. I also understand we are moving out of the Covid mode and I think its time to bring back the regular morning breakfast. If you are opting out of the normal breakfast then cut the room rate. Those are both minor negatives but all in all it was one of my nicer hotel experiences!
Pitstop on way to lake Erie
Quick check in service. The receptionist was very efficient. Grab n go bags for breakfast. Cereal, fruit, and yogurt. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. Plenty of parking. We had a very restful stay. They were completely booked over memorial day weekend.
Great Place to Stop for the Night!
I stopped here for an overnight on a road trip and I’m so glad I did! Just minutes off I-80, the place was well-lit, clean, and friendly! A king-size bedroom will get you a small suite area with a full size couch, desk and TV separate from the bed, which is nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They are still doing a breakfast where you grab things and go. Overall felt very safe and taken care of!
Clean place- but that’s it
I’m a bonvoy elite member, no welcome or thank you offered, the rooms were small, the bathrooms were updated and clean which was nice. The breakfast was set up as grab and go but wasn’t stocked well. I’ve experienced friendlier staff at Marriott properties.
Worth making this a stop on Rte 80
This is easily the best Fairfield Inn we have stayed at. It is very conveniently located near Rte 80 and just outside of a lovely little town with good services. It is next door to a good restaurant. The staff is top notch, very accomodating and helpful. We found the covid procedures to be followed perfectly, everyone respectful with masks and distancing. They still serve a good breakfast. The rooms are clean and well kept. Kudos to management for this little gem.
