Expensively descent
Well located Hotel in Itaim Bibi, which probably accounts for its price (quite compatible with the area). Rooms are clean, comfortable bed, good linings and well served mini bar. The hotel has a restaurant with several options, both to eat at the place or room service (around R$40 per dish). Food is ok but nothing much, I guess it’s ok if you really have to eat there. Otherwise it would be good to find a restaurant close by. Breakfast is quite good, eggs, juices, fruit and breads. I think this was a good point.

Good hotel. Very nice people. The maids are really nice and the staff is sweet. Bathroom is clean. Enjoyed the shower. Bacon is the best for food. I enjoyed the salmon but sometimes was overcooked! World recommend.
Poor service, lots of extra charges and expensive room service
The charged R50 extra for queen bed in a double room. Service at front desk very poor. Room service took 1hr, expensive and average to low quality food. Free internet really slow... had to pay extra to download files for work
Excellent staff
The service was outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. My only complaint was the WiFi and the gym. I wish I didn't have to pay for a better wifi. The gym's equipment is old and it lacks space. More than one person and the gym is already crowded.
Business Trip Overnight in Sao Paulo
The hotel was quite nice and appears to be one of the nicer chains in Brazil (considering my other experiences with TRYP hotels in Campinas). I have no valid complaints about the hotel and I travel very frequently through the U.S.A. and abroad. The staff was helpful and spoke a reasonable amount of English for foreigners and the breakfast was very good. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and has plenty of shopping, food, and bars to enjoy. There is a great park that is similar to Central Park in New York which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. I certainly recommend taking that walk and enjoying the views of the city from the park. Additionally, you're a very cheap Uber ride from Via Magdilena (spelling) which is a hot spot for bars and restaurants.
