Good location but noisy

Reviewed 16 july, 2019

Good breakfast, renovated room, great location but... because they're always a buuuut... very close to the airport with Landings and takeoffs every 3 minutes makes everyone goes crazy. So, bring your earplugs or choose other location

Bedroom Ergonomic disaster!

Reviewed 8 march, 2019

I had booked this hotel for our last nights' stay in Sao Paulo since it is within walking distance to the Ibirapuera Park. We unfortunately arrived in SP from Rio on a rainy night, hence found ourselves swamped with late Saturday night traffic due to road closures and traffic diversions enroute to our hotel. The hotel is situated in quite a vibey part of town, with a noisy neighboring bar immediately noted on arrival. I had booked the superior suite, so was rather disappointed to find a twin bed setup in a very tightly spaced room. There was absolutely no space between my bed and the wardrobe, and we both felt as if our feet at the end of the bed were just about resting on the TV mounted on the wall at the foot end of the beds. Although there is a nice adjoining lounge area with outside balcony, this Suite can hardly call itself superior!! The adjoining bathroom is also a tiny space, but at least with a decent shower. There is no tea or coffee facility in the room, but there is free coffee available in a flask at reception. There is also a reasonably-priced mini bar available in the room. The included continental breakfast in the morning provides a good selection of fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, and a couple of hot dishes. The concierge allowed us to store our luggage the next morning at checkout, and we took a very comfortable and relaxed 27 minute walk to the Ibira park. The hotel is approximately 40 minutes from the International Airport in NO traffic!

Poor experience

Hotel is extremely loud--each time a flight lands at nearby CGH airport, it wakes you from your sleep. It's dirty--each of the first two rooms they showed me had bugs infesting the (old) couches. Staff, though friendly, struggles with English. Cannot recommend.

Nice place with lots close by

Room was clean and roomy. Staff were pleasant and most spoke English. Nice small pool on the roof to cool off in. Close to many restaurants and bars and a very nice mall. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Great location, good room for the price

Moema is a very urban area of Sao Paulo, with plenty of bars/restaurants/shops at walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with free wi-fi. Because of the nearby Congonhas airport, noise can be a problem during the day, though there are no flights at night. Breakfast was just OK, though the staff was friendly. There are an outdoor swimming pool and a gym but we didn't have a chance to use either.
