Heart of Savannah

You couldn't ask for a better location or nicer atmosphere. This B&B is two blocks from Forsyth Park, just off Bull Street, so everything is handy & nearby. The food is great and it's a very laid back experience.

JUST OK STAY

Reviewed 7 august, 2022

The room and bath were clean and pleasant. Unfortunately, between the wall air conditioner (which you absolutely need in August in Savannah) and the portable dehumidifier running all time, the noise level was quite high. Additionally, each day we were there I had to empty the water in the portable dehumidifier even though staff brought fresh towels each day while we were out taking in Savannah they never emptied the water in the dehumidifier.

Historic Charm

Enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The street is beautiful and peaceful. Convenient to most Historic District destinations. We had no problem parking. Would definitely stay again.

Unique stay

Reviewed 4 august, 2022

We stayed at the inn for a night after visiting Hilton Head. The next day we planned to explore Savannah before heading to the airport. We arrived about an hour early for our check in, but our room was ready. We were given a tour and a menu to choose our breakfast for the morning. Our room was clean and unique being the kitchen in 1847. We went for snacks before going to dinner and the food was delicious. The 2 men working were able to give several dinner recommendations. When we came back we had cake in the parlor, which was ok! The next morning we went for breakfast on the patio. Everything was delicious and there was lots of food. They were able to order a shuttle to take us to the first stop of the hop on/hop off tour we wanted to do. They even invited us back in to use the bathroom and get drinks and snacks to go before we went to the airport several hours after we checked out!

Excellent customer service

This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. Our room had an issue with the air conditioner, but Robert found a fan for our use. The second night the manager offered us a different room at no cost for the upgrade. The food was excellent and the hotel is in a perfect location.
