Enjoyed our stay!
Check in was easy and our room (#6) on the second floor was nice. The air conditioner worked but not always adequate with the warmer weather we had. The shower/tub had a constant leak that could not be shut off, which should be a concern for their water bill. Breakfast was ok but they still did social distancing so really could visit as much as we like too. There was access to a trolley stop across the park from the Inn. We walked everywhere but to get to Bay St or the river front it was quite the trek. Over all we had a great time and would stay again.
Staff and location are excellent
Great historic property with beautiful park across the way. Nice breakfast in the morning and wine and snacks in the afternoon. Excellent staff at the inn, helpful and knowledgable on where to go and best things/restaurants in the area. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the towels. Any small cosmetic issues, you do have to remember this is a very old historic property. Will stay again.
Amazing...again!
We stayed here last year for our son's wedding and thought it was fantastic. So we decided to spend our anniversary here this year and didn't think it could get any better. We were wrong! From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like long lost family. Dwayne (the manager) is absolutely fantastic! He ALWAYS goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. We will definitely be back.
A great getaway
We stayed at the Forsyth Park Inn for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was lovely and had character. We especially enjoyed going out on the front porch to watch The sun come up through the live oaks in the park while enjoying a nice breakfast. Staff is very accommodating.
incredible stay
loved our stay here. It was perfect but really because of Dwayne. Yes, the Inn is delightful however its all about the customer service. I offered him a job - that's how good this gentleman is. If I had anything I would do differently IF IT WERE OUR PLACE, I'd upgrade the mattresses. We own and run a bnb. We spent a bundle on our mattresses and linens but very seldom does a guest leave without asking about them; where to purchase the mattresses as well as our linens.
