Savannah is lovely, and the Savanna Bed and Breakfast Inn off Forsyth Park is a wonderful location, but be forewarned: At check-in, we were given printed instructions to make requests for fresh towels or housekeeping services at breakfast in the mornings. All requests were ignored with the Covid excuse of having only one housekeeper available for all 29 accommodation units. Unfortunately, my room had only enough hot water to fill about two inches in the bathtub. This continued for four nights that we stayed there. When the issue was reported to front desk management, I was actually told, “That usually just happens in the mornings.” This might have been forgiven in a hot, sultry, summer Savannah; however, at 52 degrees, it was a ‘chilling’ experience. Again, due to Covid, ‘breakfast’ was a cello packaged affair, and a cooked breakfast was no longer served. The temperature was also rather brisk in the mornings, and some guests had to sit outside on the deck as there were not enough tables in the indoor breakfast area. So, forgive me if I might suggest that this business should close its doors until a time guests can be provided an environment conducive to the grace of this city.
Juliette Suite does not look like the pictures

On first entry, I wanted to shriek. The advertised couch was filthy and covered by an equally dirty polyester, ill fitting, brown slip cover. The bed has a very squishy foam topper on it, which quite frankly, I was afraid to lift up and look under. To be fair, the rest of the place was as advertised, but these two items (the biggest pieces of furniture) were very disappointing and icky. Breakfast consisted of some mini, dry cinnamon rolls and scones that were purchased yesterday (or earlier), coffee, water (no juice), milk and cereal. There were some very mini quiches that were like lukewarm as well. Be advised that the street parking requires a parking pass for $12 a day.
Blue Cottage needs serious updating

I stayed in the Blue Cottage for 5 days in October. In the bathroom the floor tiles were cracked. The toilet paper holder was significantly rusted. The sink had a large chip. The rugs were very old and in need of replacement. There was a musty smell also. My friend stayed in the Jackson Suite which was much bigger and much newer with two beds (I had one) and a separate kitchen. She paid the same amount per night as I did. And because of Covid and staffing shortages there was no hot breakfast buffet. They did not tell us this before we arrived so that we might have made other arrangements. I would like to compliment Pam at the front desk because she did an excellent job. Friendly and very helpful. Also no housekeeping because of Covid and staff shortage.
Nice place - you hear a lot through the walls

Enjoyed this B&B. Staff were really nice and the breakfast was good. Great location, clean and accessible. Only negative was i heard my neighbours enjoying themselves a bit too much at night…..but what can you do!
Would stay again!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location across from a beautiful square/park. I loved the room - thankful a high powered A/C and a ceiling fan! The historic beauty of the inn and the rooms makes you feel like you're in another time period - so cool!
