I know it sounds trivial to start with this, but the sheets were clean and crisp and white and comfortable and lovely to slide into. That's what I'm looking for after a hot Nebraska day in July.
Continental breakfast was as expected, hot drinks, fruit, yogurt, muffin. Nothing spectacular, but tasty and a good start to the day.
Beyond that, customer service was above and beyond. We had had a reservation at another hotel that had fallen through, so at 9PM we showed up at America's best to a hesitant but welcoming young lady who was helpful but new. We paid for three days, but my travel partners decided not to stay all three days. The next day Messina was at the desk. The hotel has a no refund policy, so I don't know what paperwork Messina did, but somehow I got a refund for the two days we didn't stay. Thank you for that. You could have just written us off and forgotten us.
The rooms are simple, my King Size bed was luxurious, the television worked, I think it's a great place for a short stay.
Ok spot to sleep only- no wifi or pool

No one sitting at front desk ever- they have a sign near cordless phone to push the phone page button for someone to come. Pool/hot tub is closed for complete repairs.- didn’t look to open anytime soon. Terrible smell through out halls- room didn’t smell thankfully. No wifi. No elevators to 2nd floor. However we got our room and stayed in it- we needed a place to sleep and this worked. Towels/bedding had stains- (it was clean but still had stains- towels looked like makeup) Breakfast was fair- juice was completely out, 1/2 gallon milk for cold cereal for everyone there. Yogurt, a few doughnuts (apple bars) and toast/bagels sums it up.
Floors are laminate type so no carpet- thankfully! Chairs and bench were also a plastic type material to easy clean- because of this I felt the room was clean.

Hotel was under extensive renovation. May be nice when done. Our room was clean but batteries in remote were dead. We received NO towels or washcloths (until we asked for them). Table in room collapsed when atlas was placed on it. Nightstand was off the wall. Very sparse continental breakfast, including no milk for cereal or drinking. Apple juice dispenser ran water only. A few other we talked with stated their rooms were good.

Manager Marcy very rood like to sleep around with guesses very unprofessional but I guess if that’s what it takes to get business into a place that grow mold and mushrooms at will well I guess whatever she was very rood to me when I ask why was not a smoke detector in my room and no handicap door because I’m in a wheelchair and her response was o well pick somewhere else then remind you that the pool was shut down for a long time due to the virus and they did not run it and no chemicals during that time so it had almost a 1/8” of mold on it when they did turn on and just sucked it all right into the system omg that can’t be healthy. They have fire door propped open all the time or locked with deadbolts if there is a fire good luck! You may not have a chance my room didn’t even have a detector in it remember that!! Then she kicked me out illegally because I fought her drinking and doing drugs on the job but that’s okay I’ll put the word out and hope that people read it this is NOT a safe place to stay and MARCY is rood!!! She lies and drinks and does drugs on the job plus sleeps with guesses and when she gets caught she kicks you out like she is GOD well I hope this is what MR Cheema wants running his business
What’s that smell??

I would like to start by saying if I could rate this 0 stars, I would but TripAdvisor won’t let me. These pictures can not justify the uncleanliness in this motel. First impression: when we went to check in, we saw a couple trying to get a refund for their disgusting room. There were holes in everywhere in the ceiling and moths on the walls. We decided to at least look at our room and we were horrified. Some things could be fixed with a simple vacuum or broom, but there was rust, dirt, and grime everywhere. And one thing that couldn’t be fixed was the atrocious smell. I walked into the bathroom and was greeted by a spider crawling in the bathtub, the drain popped out, and rust dripping down. The bed sheets had stains and electrical sockets were falling out of the walls. I don’t usually judge a room by how bad the paint job is, but there were holes and scrapes all over it. In conclusion, if you want to catch a disease I would advise you to stay here, but if not, stay literally anywhere else. I’m just trying to save you from what only could be described as a crap hole.
