STAY CLEAR, NOTHING LIKE ADVERTISED

I booked a deluxe ocean front suite in a hotel that promised: "coffee/tea in-room, oceanfront sun-deck, business center, 24 hour coffee/tea, Signature Welcome Water; coffee/tea maker; iron and ironing board, mini fridge, microwave, down/feather pillows, luxury bedding." I took screenshots of the website that said all of that before I went.
The place is nothing like described. Like making a blind date with a self-described blond beauty and when you meet them, they are bald and toothless. This hotel is that bad.
There was no business center, no coffee/tea maker anywhere, none of the other promised amenities listed above.
The "sun-deck" was littered with booze bottles.
My top floor hotel room (I wanted to see the ocean) had no window coverings - nothing. And the deck outside the room was lit with the brightest lights you could ever imagine. No way to dim the lights, no way to ever have a dark room. They moved me to a room with drapes and a busted mini-fridge that froze my food and leaked. In this room, just like the other one, there were none of the promised amenities.
I left a day early and asked for a refund of the one day I would not be staying. No refund. In fact they charged me for more days than I booked in the first place.
If the hotel had advertised truthfully, I never would have booked. I needed a business center. I needed coffee. Most of all, I needed to sleep. I got none of that at this hotel.
The owners do not live in New Jersey and in fact, they were out of the country in May when I booked a room. That made it impossible to get any proper treatment because no one was accountable.
Stay clear of this place unless you are desperat for a place to stay at the shore.
Worst place I’ve ever seen

We got assigned rm7. Hole in the wall near a/c rain and wind coming in soaking the floor and making the room cold. Old food in the microwave. Mold in the bathroom. Filthy, unsanitary, terrible service

After reading all the disgruntled 1 star reviews I was apprehensive. I guess some people go to Seaside Heights looking for The Borgota. Look at their website pictures - that is what you will get. Went with queen room and it was exactly as pictured. Bathroom was clean with great sink. Was met at the office by a very polite fellow, Necil, and he personally showed us to our room. Have stayed over the February Polar Plunge weekend at two other Hotels - this was the best. It's a clean seashore hotel room. Great location - right on the boardwalk, We will return.
