Quick Stay
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Train Station as we were taking an Amtrak trip. Very clean, grab & go breakfast was great (we ate it on the train); close to dinner options. Staff very friendly.
Great location and Price
Was looking for a hotel close to the Amtrak King Street Station during a round the county rail trip. Also wanted a property that was reasonably priced. The Pioneer Square Best Western met all of my requirements and was close to all of the tourist things to do. It was an easy walk to the restaurants on the waterfront and the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry. The staff was very aware of security and were willing to help in any way.
Comfy and clean room in great location
Was able to relax and sleep well here. Walking distance to great cafes and shops! Wifi is weak and the heater maxes out at 'just about warm enough' but minor issues so just be ready if those are important to you. For me, not so much. If you want to be touristy and don't want to drive, you can't beat this place.
Great Hotel, horrible location
If you do not like the city, this hotel is not for you. There is no easy parking and the parking garage they use is small and hard to navigate. This location was just an absolute pain to stay at. However, if you love the city and walking every where, you'll love this location. It's by the water front, with walking distance of some great seafood restaurants and many others. I am not a city person and I hated the stay.
Perfect location
I stayed here for two nights. I took the light rail from the airport for $3 one way and it dropped me off about 3 blocks from the hotel, it was very easy to walk from the station to the hotel. From the hotel I was able to walk to Pikes Place Market and many other areas of downtown Seattle. The ferry terminal to go to the islands is right across the street, the ferry was around $8 round trip and it was nice for a day trip to the little island towns, which are also very walk-able. The hotel is very clean and the area seamed safe. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a larger room with a beautiful view of the water. My room was clean, bed was comfortable and clean and I found it to be fairly quiet. Breakfast was good, hot Jimmy Dean Sandwiches, boiled eggs, waffles, pastries, and all the other usual continental breakfast items. I took some fruit and granola to eat for lunch as well. They usually have free bottled water in the lobby for you to take, I always grabbed one on my way out.
