Hotel needs a makeover
The guestroom was terribly outdated and in need of maintenance. I thought I was going to fall through the tub floor and I'm not a big person. The smell in the room was not good and the room structure needed updating.
Great Stay All the Way Around
We spent 10 days traveling throughout the south and hoped to make it back to WI but hit an ice storm and stopped at this Ramada to be safe. It is far and away the best place we stayed the entire trip. Stayed in king suite as all king rooms were full. Huge room, lots of space to spread out. Free coffee/soda 24x7, staff friendly, was undergoing construction but signs were posted all over and we did not run into any issues during our stay on the 2nd floor. Great place.
Horrible staff
I have stayed at this hotel numerous occasions over the past 3 years. As of recently I have stayed over 20 nights in the past 2 months. Last night as I went to check in. The night manager got very upset after asking for my credit card and drivers license when I proceeded to explain the cc on file does not have any numbers on the card. ( Apple Card) I explained that I can provide the numbers if needed. She immediately started yelling at me trying to explain the company’s policies. I responded by asking her to calm down that I did not appreciate being yelled at only to be told she wasn’t yelling and started back on company policy. I tried to remain calm but slipped a little. I told her that I do not care about her company rules that they do not give her the right to speak to people in this manner. She told me that she was not giving me a room. I said that’s fine. I left and got into my car. I went across the street to the days inn which is run by the same staff and manager this I just found out. I was told that the manager called and said I was not allowed to book a room here either. I called the hotel this morning to speak with the manager and feel like I am being ignored. I can not believe the way I was treated. In short I have stayed in a Wyndham hotel over 60 nights this year and have never had an issue until now. I work for a very large company with a lot of people who travel regularly for work. The sellersburg Ramada and Days inn will being losing a lot of future business. I recommend all working class people go down the road to the quality inn. They are more polite and treat people better.
Clean good hotel / will stay again
Room very nice really large . Excellent location n friendly staff . Safe area too. Will stay here again . Front desk attendant helped me n very nice hotel . Very clean. Comfortable. Had to drive a little out of my way - very glad I did.
Poor service, no mask, room smells
The hotel smelled like mildew overall. The shower head had visual black mildew. Our king size bed was very creeky. Went down to get breakfast and the front desk clerk didn’t have a mask on and wasn’t too friendly when I asked for our breakfasts. Not friendly at all. I wouldn’t stay there again
