Me encanto pasar 7 días en Freina!! Una familia excelente que sabe llevar muy bien un cálido y hermoso hotel de montaña!! Una calidad perfecta!! Todos trabajan 10 puntos, y eso hace que el huésped se sienta muy cómodo. El Stinco di maiale es delicioso, lo recomiendo!!

Staff were friendly and helpful both for information and for helping with special meal requests. The room had plenty of space and was clean and nicely appointed. No frig, though. Enjoyed the shower. No shampoo, though. We were able to walk to several of the starting points for hikes, and it is certainly easy to walk about town. Breakfast was laid out nicely with choices we enjoyed. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. Space is limited everywhere in the region, but parking was convenient in and out. A very pleasant stay.

An excellent place for a mountain escapade, the Freina Hotel is all that a family run accommodation should be and much more. The staff is polite and friendly, always ready to help you achieve your dream holiday. One highlight, if you find yourself in need of help regarding what to do in the area, just ask at the reception and you will be offered a variety of unique and spectacular trekking trails (if it is summer) and a complete list of activities and events to discover the local culture. Everything related to food and drinks is exceptional, a very talented chef being behind all that is brought out of the kitchen. Beside the normal, quite diverse menu (which also includes a kid’s menu, a vegetarian and a gluten-free one), there is also a daily one which changes everyday. The rooms are airy and modern, always clean and offering a wonderful view of the mountains. Even in summer, you can see that the hotel is strategically placed at the end of a slope, offering quick access on skis to the cable car via a teleski. All in all, Freina remains a great place to stay in Selva, regardless of the season.

We have been traveling with motorhome, car and now with motorcycles for the last 20 years. Hotel Freina is probably the best hotel we have stayed at with high service and professional staff and warm feeling for the guests. We highly recommend this hotel very much and are already looking forward to next stay 2023. Sincerely Family Bergefall (Thomas, Diana and Robin)

Sadly all good things come to an end, also so our visit to Freina. Wish we could stay longer, but it will have to be another time. For sure, because we will definitely return The room was spacious with good standard, very good value for money, and with an excellent view. The included breakfast was served in the restaurant and left nothing to be desired. Also with a great view of the mountains. The room, the excellent restaurant and the great hosts that was the Kostner family I almost forgot to use the wellness area. Tried it the last day, and it was also excellent. Thank you for making our stay a great one. We will return and taste grandma's excellent strudel again.
