I had a great trip to visit Pittsburgh Pa to see a college football game. I had logistical problems going to and fro the game the manager recommended a solution that worked out amazingly well. The assistant manager Lucy was exceptional at every turn to ensure my stay was as comfortable as if I was at home, she nailed it 100%. The supporting staff was equally friendly, knowledgeable and attentive it was not a coincidence but rather a byproduct of the Hotels leadership team. The hotel was a Hilton property I expect it to be clean that’s the standard and this hotel was no different. When I rate a hotel it’s based on customer service and this Hotel was by far and away one of the best experiences I’ve had in a very long time.

Stayed at this hotel for four nights while visiting nearby Pittsburgh and attending a college football game. The room rate was fair, the location reasonably close to downtown Pittsburgh while the room and bed were comfortable. The most impressive asset this hotel possesses is it's staff. Lucy is without a doubt the most friendly, competent knowledgeable front desk representative I have had the occasion to meet. On two different afternoons, I heard her talking on the phone with a incoming guest - expertise, friendliness and willingness to explain rules about late check out and other minutia was outstanding. When my party was facing a rather convoluted transportation issue, the manager of the hotel suggested an option that worked out very well. We were able to get to the football game in time and returned to the hotel without any issues. Breakfast was fine, beds were fine, rooms were clean - its a Hilton, those things are expected. The staff was the difference. I strongly recommend that the Hilton Corp somehow use Lucy as a teacher instructing prospective front desk representatives. She is one in a million

Man on staff entered room inappropriately

Imagine my horror - when I returned to my room from being out at my car I found a man standing in the doorway of my room with my teenage daughter alone inside! I had left the "do not disturb" sign on the door, and yet he knocked once and entered the room. He had the nerve to tell me that he had a note that I had already checked out. That was a total lie - I was using the digital key on my phone and it was still working. When you check out you immediately receive the bill and the key no longer works... I presume the hotel is trying to get guests out earlier than the 11am checkout time - it was not even 10am when this happened so it wasn't like we were pushing the checkout time or anything. There is no excuse for this sort of occurrence. And there was no apology for the incident. In fact, he said I was rude when I told him to get out of my room! I normally stay at Hampton Inns and nothing like this has never happened to me before.

The front desk staff (Lisa, Lucey, and Shareia) were terrific. They are friendly, efficient, and patient (I had a number of questions about the area/directions, etc.). The housekeeping staff was also friendly and efficient. They took care of my needs immediately.

Clean, quiet hotel with great free breakfast

We enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn in Wexford. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was a nice perk, they served hot items (eggs & sausage) as well as make your own waffles, and a variety of cereals, breads, fruit, yogurt, etc. We also used the pool which was nice, but the water was not heated, although the pool room itself was very warm. The hotel is next to a Sheetz which is a convenience store/gas station and down the road from a Starbucks. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area visiting family.
