Dirty!
Checked in around 8pm and relaxed. Went in bathroom to get ready for bed and saw filthy. We were already unpacked. I would not step in that shower! The hinges on the toilet were disgusting. The refrigerator shelves had drippings on them. There was a beer in the fridge and the microwave was not clean. The beds looked good until I pulled back the covers there was a footprint in the pillow area! So disgusting 😷😠
Gross
When I arrived, I drove around the building and found no office entrance. I had to call and was told to come to the diner separately located in front. I interrupted what looked like a family gathering and was given my room for $60.20. Wow what a deel. Tired from 14 hours on the road, I called to say tv said no signal. No help from front office. I looked at the garbage and dirt all over my room and decided not to go outside in the cold to get a key for a different room and just went to sleep. The next morning a took a few pictures and showed the hostess of the diner while getting my receipt. She didnt care. Please please dont support this location. Also, I think Wyndham would want to see these conditions
Horrible
My husband travels for his job. He was in this motel for a 2 weeks and f and NEVER had trash removed from his room, NEVER had his sheets changed, bed NEVER made and room was NEVeR vacuumed and bathroom was NEVER cleaned....and bed was uncomfortable. He is a clean guest and was very appalled at the lack of housekeeping services. For any stay more than a few days, do NOT stay here. When he goes back, he will stay somewhere else. Pitiful and dissapointing.
now where else to go
Someone needs to open a little motel in Sharon Springs. We hunt and have dogs, so we like to stay here but it is really holding our breath to see what we get. Sometimes not too bad. Sometimes, overpowering smell, dirty tub, loud noises. We never know. We started staying at another motel nearby but it closed. The linens are nice. It's convenient to have a 24 hour diner. The maid service is remiss.
Won't Stay Again
Hotel is pretty much attached to a diner, that's where you check in. Once you stand and wait and wait and wait. Diner has just ok food, sloppy looking staff. There is NO complimentary breakfast despite what site says. Room was not clean. Toilet really needed cleaning, spilled liquid in fridge, hand towel was hanging on rack by sink but it was clearly dirty, and a blanket was crammed into a dresser drawer. Not folded, but wadded up and stuffed in. No laundry bag. Bed seemed really low to the floor, I thought I had been driving too long and my eyes were going out. Satellite trouble with TV. I believe the restaurant staff is also responsible for housekeeping which explains a lot.
